シルバーカラーのサンレイダイヤルに、シンプルなバーインデックスが美しく配置されています。各インデックスの中央にブラックプリントが施され、視認性を高めており、3・6・9時位置はダブルインデックスとなっております。細身のペンシルハンドが全体を引き締め、フォーマルで洗練された印象を与えます。ケースはロレックス伝統のオイスターケースで、堅牢性とエレガンスを両立。ブレスレットはリベット仕様のRef.7205、エンドリンク57、クラスプデイト66/2を装備しています。

ケースは使用感が少なく、スムースベゼルに目立つ傷は見受けられません。ダイヤルは微細なパティナが確認できますが、肉眼では気にならない程度で、全体として整った印象を保っています。針と王冠ロゴはくすみがなく、当時の輝きをしっかりと残しています。インデックスはごくわずかに経年変化が見られるものの、コンディションは良好です。弊社にて分解清掃済みです。

オイスターデイトは手巻きの為薄く、ロレックスの入門編として日常使いにもお勧めできるモデルです。当時から多彩なカラーバリエーションが見られ、ブラックやブルーも、他のモデルにくらべて手が出しやすい価格層に抑えられています。安定した手巻きのムーブメントは精度が良く、日付の早送りがついていない為、針を進めて変更するのが少々手間ですが、アンティークらしい愛嬌のある手巻き時計としてロレックスを楽しめます。

COMMENT

The silver sunburst dial is adorned with cleanly arranged bar indexes, each accented at the center with black print for enhanced legibility. The 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions feature double markers, adding a subtle yet refined touch. Slim pencil hands lend sharpness to the overall aesthetic, contributing to a formal and sophisticated impression. The watch is housed in Rolex’s iconic Oyster case, which combines robustness with elegance. It comes fitted with a riveted Ref. 7205 bracelet, end links stamped 57, and a clasp dated 66/2.

The case exhibits minimal signs of wear, and the smooth bezel remains free from noticeable blemishes. While faint patina can be seen on the dial, it is scarcely perceptible to the naked eye and does not detract from the watch’s clean appearance. The hands and applied crown logo retain their original luster, while the indexes show only the lightest signs of aging, preserving an overall excellent condition. Fully disassembled and cleaned by our workshop.

The Ref. 6694 is one of Rolex’s quintessential hand-wound models, embodying a blend of structural simplicity and functional beauty. By omitting luminous material, the dial design appears even more refined, balancing utilitarian clarity with a distinctly vintage character.
