This elegant and classically styled Cartier features a 31mm round case with a blue cabochon-set crown. The white dial displays Roman numerals and pencil-style hands that broaden subtly toward the tips, lending a graceful, balanced impression. A minute track encircles the inner dial for clarity and precision. The case is gold-plated with a 20-micron layer of 18K gold, radiating a warm luster. Notably, the dial omits the “must de” signature—an early and refined design language that would later influence the Louis Cartier collection.
The case is in remarkable condition, showing virtually no signs of wear. The brushed finish and engravings on the caseback remain crisp and well-preserved. The hands exhibit only slight patina, and the Roman numerals retain their glossy black print without any loss of detail, giving the dial a clean, elegant appearance.
