希少な手巻きのTANK。人気の高いアイボリー色の文字盤にローマンインデックスは、カルティエらしいシンプルなデザイン。バトンハンドは手巻きタンクに見られるブラックで、ブルースチールとは違った引き締まったフェイスです。ブルーのカボションリューズが際立つ配色は、品の良さを感じます。ベルトはクロコダイル製でタンク専用オリジナルのサイズのままに製作しております。カルティエ純正のバックルが装備されておりますので、そのオリジナル性をお楽しみ頂けます。機械にはETA2512-1をベースにしたCal.78-1を搭載。この世代のカルティエに多く用いられた機械で、パーツの入手がしやすいメンテンナス性の高い機械です。

ヴィンテージタンクのエナメル質なダイヤルは、気にこそならないものの軽度のクラックが入りやすいことで知られています。こちらは希少なノンクラックです。市場に出ているほとんどの個体がクラック有りと言っても過言ではない中、このような状態のものは大きなアドバンテージとなります。ガラスに傷はなく、ケースは傷が少なく、綺麗な状態です。カルティエのエレガンスを最大限に堪能できます。弊社にて分解清掃済みです。

現在では、ジュエラーとして名高いカルティエですが、まだ懐中時計が主流だった1904年に本格的な腕時計を製作したのはカルティエが最初でした。「タンク」という名前は、“戦車”を意味し、第一次世界大戦中の終結に貢献したといわれる、ルノー製の戦車がデザインの基となっています。その中でもマストシリーズは文字盤のバリエーションが豊富にあります。

COMMENT

A rare hand-wound TANK model. The ivory-colored dial with Roman numerals reflects Cartier’s signature minimalist aesthetic. The baton hands are black—a style often found on hand-wound Tanks—offering a sharper impression than the more common blued steel. The blue cabochon crown stands out beautifully, lending a sense of refined elegance. The strap is made of crocodile leather and crafted in the original custom size specific to the Tank. A genuine Cartier buckle is installed, allowing you to fully appreciate the originality of the piece. The watch is powered by the Cal. 78-1, based on the ETA 2512-1, a movement widely used in Cartier watches of this era. It is known for its ease of maintenance and ready availability of parts. The original box from the period is included.

The enamel-like dial of vintage Tanks is known for being prone to fine cracks, even if minor and not always visible. This piece is a rare no-crack example. Given that nearly all Tanks on the market exhibit at least some cracking, this is a significant advantage. The crystal is free from scratches, and the case is in beautiful condition with minimal wear. It offers a full appreciation of Cartier’s timeless elegance.The movement has been fully disassembled and cleaned by our team.
