COMMENT

2時位置のプッシャーひとつでスタート・ストップ・リセットを兼ねる機構を備え、押し続けることで秒を読み取り、離すと瞬時にゼロ復帰する仕様。愛らしい卵型のケースにフラットなシルバーのサンレイダイヤルを合わせ、スポーティなモデルが多いクロノストップの中でも落ち着いた表情を持っています。夜光を備えない仕様に幅広のバーインデックスを組み合わせ、ブラックプリントにより視認性が確保されています。

ケースは小傷が多く見られるものの、ヘアラインと鏡面の切り替え部分のエッジが立ち、プロポーションは良好です。ダイヤルは傷がなく、当時の質感を色濃く残しています。ルーペで確認すると微細な点状の経年変化が見られますが、肉眼ではほとんど気にならないレベルです。弊社にて分解清掃済みです。

＜Geneve（ジュネーブ）＞シリーズは、コンステレーション、デビル、スピードマスター、シーマスターなどのシリーズの中でエントリーモデルとして1964年に登場。エントリーモデルとはいえ、発売当時の国産機械式時計などと比べるとはるかに高性能で、高価な時計でした。デザイン性が高く、メンズ、レディス共に都会的でスタイリッシュなモデルが多いラインです。現在では生産されていないモデルのため、アンティークでしか味わえない魅力があります。

COMMENT

This model features a single pusher at 2 o’clock that controls start, stop, and reset. By holding it down, the seconds can be read; releasing it instantly snaps the hand back to zero. The softly contoured, egg-shaped case is paired with a flat silver sunray dial, giving the watch a calmer presence compared to the sportier designs more typical of the Chronostop line. Wide bar indexes without luminous material are combined with crisp black printing to ensure excellent legibility.

The case shows multiple surface marks, yet the contrast between brushed and polished finishes remains sharp, and the proportions are well preserved. The dial is free from scratches and retains its original texture. Under magnification, small specks of natural aging can be observed, though they are scarcely noticeable to the naked eye. Serviced and disassembled by our watchmaker.

This is Omega’s one-pusher chronograph, the “Chronostop,” released under references 146.009 and 146.010. Its unique one-pusher mechanism offers intuitive operation and a distinctive visual rhythm. The gentle curves of the egg-shaped case paired with the clean silver dial lend the watch a refined demeanor—balancing the character of a functional sports watch with the poise and composure of a vintage timepiece. BRAND

The Genève line was introduced in 1964 as Omega’s entry-level series, positioned alongside collections such as the Constellation, De Ville, Speedmaster, and Seamaster. Despite being marketed as an entry model, its quality far surpassed that of contemporary domestic mechanical watches and commanded a higher price. Known for its stylish, urban designs available for both men and women, the Genève line is no longer in production, making its appeal today exclusive to vintage pieces.
