COMMENT

ダイヤルはブラックマット仕上げで、レターはホワイトプリントにより描かれています。ケースは70年代のシーマスターを彷彿とさせる直線的なファセットを意識したデザインで、力強さとモダンさを併せ持った造形。針は細身のペンシルハンドで、繊細な印象を与えます。バーインデックスは中央に稜線が入り、外周に夜光塗料が配され、視認性と立体感を高めています。ミニッツマーカーは1秒単位で刻まれ、0.2秒刻みの精密なスケールが描かれています。3時・6時・9時位置はそれぞれ30分積算計、12時間計、スモールセコンドを備えたクロノグラフ仕様です。

ケースはスーパーコンプレッサーなど防水性に優れたケースを開発していたEPSA（Ervin Piquerez SA）製で、ダイビングベルをデフォルメした刻印が見られます。例に倣い、この個体はラウンドプッシャーにスクリューバックと防水性を意識した仕様です。ケースバックはダブルステップ、スピードマスターでは-65以前のケースに見られたディテールです。

ケースは使用傷が最小限にとどまり、特に上面ベゼル周辺に傷が見られず、シャープな輪郭とともに美しい状態を維持しています。マットダイヤルは質感がしっかりと残っており、プリントレターは欠けがなく良好な状態。針はくすみが少なく、インデックスは鏡面のような輝きを保っています。針とインデックスに塗布された夜光は程よくベージュに変化しており、ヴィンテージらしい落ち着いた表情を演出しています。弊社にて分解清掃済みです。

ムーブメントは、NASAの月面着陸ミッションで採用されたことで名高いレマニア製Cal.321を搭載。この傑作ムーブメントは、のちのスピードマスター誕生の源流ともいえる存在で、シーマスター・クロノグラフにも搭載されていたことは広く知られていません。Ref.105.004のように、エレガントな外観と高精度のクロノグラフ機能を兼ね備えたモデルにこそ、Cal.321の真価が発揮されていたといえるでしょう。実用性と歴史的価値を併せ持つ、クロノグラフの名品です。

1848年の創業から160年以上もの歴史を誇るスイスの老舗時計メーカー＜OMEGA（オメガ）＞。創業からちょうど100周年を迎えた1948年に誕生したのが＜Seamaster（シーマスター）＞。社会人となった自らの象徴として、何かを成し遂げた記念の証として、人生の様々なシーンであなたの傍らで静かに時を刻む存在、オメガほど人生を彩るにふさわしいアイテムはありません。

COMMENT

The dial features a matte black finish with cleanly printed white lettering. The case design—with its sharp, faceted lines—is reminiscent of the 1970s Omega Seamaster, offering a balance of strength and modernity. Slender pencil hands lend a refined appearance, while the bar indices feature a central ridge and luminous accents around the outer edge, enhancing both legibility and depth. The minute track is marked at 1-second intervals, with fine gradations down to 0.2 seconds. The chronograph sub-dials are positioned at 3, 6, and 9 o’clock, displaying a 30-minute counter, 12-hour totalizer, and running seconds, respectively.

The case is manufactured by EPSA (Ervin Piquerez SA), known for its highly water-resistant designs, including the famous Super Compressor. As expected, this example is equipped with round pushers and a screw-down case back, reflecting a purposeful design for water resistance. The case back features a double-step profile—a detail also found on pre-1965 Speedmasters—and a stylized diving bell hallmark that is characteristic of EPSA-made cases.

The case remains in excellent condition with minimal signs of wear. Notably, the bezel area is free from nicks or scratches, preserving its sharp contours. The matte dial retains its original texture, and the white print is crisp and intact. The hands show only light patina, and the indices still gleam with mirror-like brilliance. The lume on both the hands and indices has aged to an attractive beige tone, giving the watch a vintage, understated charm. Disassembled and cleaned by our workshop.

Powering this piece is the legendary Lemania Cal. 321, the same chronograph movement that accompanied NASA astronauts on the moon. While best known for its role in the Speedmaster, it is less widely known that this movement was also used in certain Seamaster chronographs. In models like the Ref. 105.004—with their refined styling and precise functionality—the full potential of the Cal. 321 was truly realized. This timepiece is both a practical tool and a historically important chronograph.
