COMMENT

ポルシェグループ創設者一族のF.A.ポルシェが率いるポルシェデザインが、IWCと共同で開発したダイバーズウォッチ「オーシャン2000」。その名の通り、当時としては画期的な2000m防水を実現した、世界初の超高耐圧腕時計です。Ref.3504には複数のダイヤルバリエーションが存在しますが、本個体は初期仕様のデザインを採用しています。また、ブレスレットは前期・中期・後期と仕様が分かれていますが、こちらには中期型のブレスが装着されており、過渡期ならではの構成を楽しめる一本です。

オールブラックのケースとダイヤルに、レーザーのように鋭い赤い秒針がアクセントを添え、視認性を最大限に高めたデザイン。ケース素材には当時としては最先端のチタンを採用しており、非腐食性・耐磁性・低アレルギー性を備えながら、非常に軽量で快適な装着感を実現しています。ベゼルは反時計回りにのみ回転する安全設計で、操作時には一度押し下げる必要があるロック機構付き。これは水中での誤操作を防ぐ、ダイビング用としての高い実用性を体現しています。

ケースは使用感がほとんど見られず、マットな質感を美しく保っています。ベゼルの夜光ポイントは欠けることなく残っています。ダイヤルは目立った経年変化がなく、マットブラックの表情をそのまま維持。針はトリチウムの夜光塗料が落ち着いたベージュへと変化し、ヴィンテージらしい味わいを感じられます。サービス針（ルミノヴァ）となっていることが多いなか、当時ものを装備しています。インデックスは変色なくホワイトを保ち、コントラストの効いたフェイスを構成しています。弊社にて分解掃除済みです。

The Ocean 2000 is a diver’s watch developed through a collaboration between IWC and Porsche Design, led by F. A. Porsche, a member of the founding family of the Porsche Group. As its name suggests, it was the world’s first wristwatch to achieve an extraordinary 2000-meter water resistance—an unprecedented technical feat at the time.

While multiple dial variations exist for Ref. 3504, this particular piece features the early-spec design. The bracelet also went through several evolutions—early, mid, and late types—and this example is fitted with the mid-generation bracelet, offering a rare transitional configuration that captures the spirit of a pivotal era in the model’s development.

The design is defined by its all-black case and dial, punctuated by a razor-sharp red seconds hand—an element that not only enhances legibility but also gives the watch a sleek, almost futuristic appearance. The case is crafted from titanium, a cutting-edge material at the time that offers corrosion resistance, anti-magnetic properties, hypoallergenic benefits, and exceptional lightness for comfortable wear. The bezel is unidirectional and features a locking mechanism that requires downward pressure before rotation, preventing accidental adjustments underwater—true to its function-first design philosophy.

The case remains in excellent condition with minimal signs of wear, and its matte surface retains a pristine appearance. The luminous pip on the bezel is intact, further enhancing the watch’s utility and collectibility. The matte black dial shows no noticeable aging, while the lume on the hands has matured to a warm beige, adding vintage character. The hour markers remain crisp in white, maintaining a high-contrast, legible display. Fully serviced by our workshop.
