COMMENT

ドットインデックスとペンシル針にアロー針を組み合わせた独特のデザインが特徴的なダイヤル。秒針には通称“ロリポップ”と呼ばれる丸型のディテールが施され、遊び心のある表情を演出しています。カレンダーは英語表記とスペイン語表記による曜日カレンダーを備えたダブルカレンダー仕様。両方向回転式のベゼルはローレットが二重構造となっており、操作性にも優れています。

ケースには多少の傷が見られるものの、がっしりとしたシルエットは崩れておらず、全体として良好なプロポーションを保っています。ベゼルには細かなスレが確認されますが、色味の変化は最小限にとどまり、視認性の高いコンディションです。ダイヤルはエイジングの影響がほとんど感じられず、クリアな印象を保っています。針にはややくすみが見られるものの、落ち着いたトーンでヴィンテージらしい趣を添えています。針とインデックスに塗布された夜光塗料はエイジングが非常に少なく、ホワイトに近い明るい色味を維持しています。弊社にて分解清掃済みです。

本モデル〈Ref.6309〉は、海外仕様のダイバーモデルで、曜日表記にスペイン語が採用されていることから、おそらくスペイン向けに製造されたものと推察されます。1970年代のセイコーが誇る高い技術力を堪能できる、実用性と個性を兼ね備えた一本です。

COMMENT

This Seiko diver’s watch features a unique dial design that combines dot indexes with pencil and arrow hands for a bold and practical look. The seconds hand is styled with a round “lollipop” tip, adding a playful and distinctive character. It also boasts a bilingual day display in English and Spanish, paired with a date window—offering both functionality and charm. The bidirectional rotating bezel is finished with a dual-knurled edge, ensuring excellent grip and smooth operation.

While the case shows some signs of wear, its robust silhouette remains intact, and the watch retains strong proportions overall. The bezel exhibits light surface marks, but its color has remained largely unchanged, maintaining excellent legibility. The dial is crisp and clean with little to no signs of aging, preserving a fresh and refined appearance. The hands show a slight patina, which enhances the vintage charm without detracting from readability. The luminous paint on both the hands and indexes remains bright, leaning toward an off-white hue with minimal aging. The watch has been fully overhauled and serviced by our workshop.

This Ref. 6309 was manufactured as an international-market diver’s model. The use of Spanish in the day display suggests it was likely intended for the Spanish-speaking market. A true testament to Seiko’s engineering prowess in the 1970s, this watch blends functionality and character into a standout vintage diver’s piece.
