当時「セイコー５」に対抗して製造された「７シリーズ」です。高級モデル＜レオパール＞と同系列の機械を搭載し、若者向けの高級モデルの位置付けで販売されました。メルセデスハンドとインナー回転ベゼルの組み合わせで「７シリーズ」の中でも非常に人気の高いモデルです。
