COMMENT

ドットインデックスにペンシル針とアロー針を組み合わせた、ユニークなデザインのダイヤルが特徴です。秒針には通称“ロリポップ”と呼ばれる丸型のディテールが施されており、遊び心ある表情を演出しています。カレンダーは英語と日本語による曜日表記が併記されたダブルカレンダー仕様。両方向回転式のベゼルは、二重構造のローレットにより操作性が高められています。

ケースは全体的に細かな傷が見受けられるものの、シルエットは崩れておらず良好なプロポーションを維持。ベゼルはエイジングによる色味の変化がほとんど見られず、鮮明な状態を保っています。ダイヤルは経年変化の影響が最小限にとどまり、クリアな印象です。針にはわずかなくすみが乗っていますが、視認性の高いコンディション。針とインデックスに塗布された夜光塗料は、美しくエイジングしベージュトーンへと変化しています。弊社にて分解清掃済みです。

COMMENT

This Seiko diver’s watch features a unique dial design with a combination of dot indexes, pencil hands, and a bold arrow-style minute hand. The seconds hand is accented with a circular “lollipop” detail, adding a touch of playful character to the otherwise utilitarian layout. The day-date display is bilingual, showing both English and Japanese, and the bidirectional bezel is fitted with a double-knurled edge for improved grip and usability.

While the case shows fine surface wear consistent with age, its shape remains well-defined and structurally sound. The bezel retains its original deep tone with minimal signs of aging, preserving excellent legibility. The dial is remarkably clean, exhibiting only minor signs of aging, and the hands remain clear with only light patina that does not impact visibility. The luminous material on the hands and indexes has aged gracefully to a warm beige tone, enhancing the vintage aesthetic. The watch has been fully overhauled by our in-house workshop.

This model, Ref. 6306, was produced exclusively for the Japanese domestic market, notable for its bilingual day display in English and Japanese. With its rugged build and distinctive design, it perfectly embodies Seiko’s technical excellence of the 1970s—a dependable and character-rich vintage diver’s watch.
