縦ヘアラインのグレーダイヤルがモダンなシーマスターデビル。中央が膨らんだボンベダイアルで、一見無機質なフェイスにも柔らかみが感じられます。インデックスやペンシルハンドの針は、細めで繊細な印象を受けます。1960年初頭にデビューしたデビルはワンピースケースを採用した、シーマスターからの派生モデルでした。通常のシーマスターに比べると細くて繊細なバー状のラグは、先端で内側に向けて切り落とされ上品さをプラスしています。ケースの縁ギリギリまでとられた文字盤面積が大きく、実際のサイズより時計が大きく見えます。ブレスレットはオメガ純正のジュビリーRef.1037、エンドリンク570です。見た目のユニークさだけでなく、快適なつけ心地が魅力です。

ケースとブレスレットは当店でオリジナル通りに仕上げています。ラグのエッジにある小さな面やケースサイドの段を忠実に再現しており、新品のような美しさです。ダイヤルはミントコンディションです。レターのプリントには劣化がなく、50年以上の経年を感じさせません。インデックスやアプライドのオメガロゴはキラキラと輝く大変美しい状態を維持しています。弊社にて分解掃除済みです。

＜DE VILLE＞はフランス語で「街角」を意味します。その名に相応しく、都会的でタウンユースのしやすい小洒落た雰囲気を持っています。コンステレーションとは違った、薄型だがドレスウオッチになり過ぎない、分別をわきまえた感じの良さが魅力的な1本です。コンディションは非常に良いですが、お求めやすい価格もおすすめする理由のひとつです。

COMMENT

The modern Seamaster De Ville features a vertically brushed grey dial. The domed dial adds a softness to its seemingly utilitarian face. The indices and pencil hands are slender, giving a delicate impression. Debuting in the early 1960s, the De Ville was a derivative model from the Seamaster, featuring a one-piece case. Compared to the regular Seamaster, it has finer, more delicate bar lugs that are cut inward at the tips, adding elegance. The dial extends almost to the edge of the case, making the watch appear larger than its actual size. It comes with a genuine Omega Jubilee bracelet, Ref. 1037, with end links 570, known not only for its unique appearance but also for its comfortable wear.

The case and bracelet have been finished to their original condition by our store. The small facets on the edges of the lugs and the stepped sides of the case have been faithfully recreated, giving it a like-new appearance. The dial is in mint condition, with no deterioration in the printed letters, defying its 50+ years of age. The indices and applied Omega logo maintain a brilliant shine. It has been disassembled and cleaned by our company.

"De Ville" means "of the city" in French, aptly reflecting its stylish and urban character. Unlike the Constellation, it is thin but not overly dressy, exuding a sense of refined elegance. The condition is excellent, and its affordable price is another reason to recommend it.
