肉厚なラグとフラットベゼルが堅牢な印象を与える、初期シーマスターのRef.2766-3です。ダイヤルはプレーンなホワイトを基調に、カッパーカラーのドーフィンハンドとクサビインデックスを組み合わせた端正な構成。夜光を用いないためソリッドな印象で、アプライドのΩロゴが静かに光ります。ムーブメントはバンパー式自動巻のCal.344を搭載し、腕に伝わる控えめな振動まで含めて、時代の機構を味わえる一本です。

ケースは良いプロポーションを保ち、ラグのエッジに残る鏡面の面取りが美しく映ります。ダイヤルは経年によりシャンパンカラーへ移行し、柔らかなトーンで腕に馴染みます。時針のテールはメッキの剥がれによりシルバーカラーが覗き、この個体ならではの表情となっています。ムーブメントは目立つ錆や汚れが見当たらず、赤銅メッキの美しいディテールが確認できます。弊社にて分解掃除済みです。

COMMENT

The early Seamaster Ref.2766-3 features thick lugs and a flat bezel that lend the watch a robust, architectural presence. Its dial is a clean, understated white, paired with copper-toned dauphine hands and wedge-shaped indexes for a refined and balanced aesthetic. With no luminous material applied, the overall impression is solid and minimalist, highlighted quietly by the applied Ω logo. Inside is the bumper automatic Cal.344, whose gentle oscillating feedback on the wrist allows the wearer to experience the mechanical character unique to this era of automatic movements.

The case retains excellent proportions, with the mirror-polished bevels along the lugs providing a crisp and elegant sheen. The dial has naturally transitioned to a soft champagne tone over time, giving it a warm and harmonious appearance on the wrist. The tail of the hour hand shows an area of silver where the plating has worn—an appealing detail that contributes to the individuality of this particular example.
