希少なCal.352を搭載した、シーマスタークロノメーター Ref.2520。シーマスター1stジェネレーションとして知られるRef.2577と同様、肉厚なラグと頑強なケースが最大の魅力。ラグは非常に長く、裏蓋を下回る独特なデザインが特徴で、オメガがこの時期にのみ採用した意匠です。この設計により、腕に吸い付くような快適な装着感を実現しています。また、この時代のシーマスターには多くのダイヤルバリエーションが存在しますが、本品は内外で仕上げが異なるツートンダイヤルを採用。クサビインデックスの内側に精緻なチャプターリングが配され、クラシカルな美しさを引き立てています。ムーブメントには、初代コンステレーションにも搭載されたクロノメーターモデル、Cal.352を搭載。RGキャリバーは機械としても高い完成度を誇る一品です。

ケースは使用感がほとんど見られず、ラグの先端までシャープなエッジが保たれています。非常に美しい状態です。ダイヤルは経年変化により、わずかにぽつぽつとした質感が見られるものの、全体として年式を考慮すれば非常に美しい状態を維持。針やインデックス、アプライドのΩロゴにはくすみがなく、光を受けるたびに輝きを放ちます。ムーブメントには美しい赤銅メッキが施され、内部も素晴らしいコンディション。弊社にて分解掃除済みです。

The Seamaster Chronometer Ref.2520, equipped with the rare Cal.352, is a distinguished model within Omega’s early automatic chronometer lineup. Like the well-known Ref.2577, the first-generation Seamaster, it features robust lugs and a sturdy case—hallmarks of its design. The lugs are notably long and extend below the case back, a unique construction that Omega only used during this period. This design ensures a snug and comfortable fit on the wrist.

The dial showcases a two-tone finish, with different treatments applied to the inner and outer sections. A finely detailed chapter ring encircles the wedge-shaped indices, enhancing its refined, classic aesthetic. The movement, Cal.352, is the same chronometer-grade caliber found in the first-generation Constellation. As part of the RG (Réglage Guilloché) series, it represents a high level of watchmaking precision and craftsmanship.

The case exhibits minimal signs of wear, with sharp edges extending to the tips of the lugs. The dial, while showing faint speckling due to age, remains remarkably well-preserved given its vintage. The hands, indices, and applied Omega logo are free from tarnish, reflecting light beautifully. The movement features an elegant red-gilded finish and is in outstanding internal condition. The watch has been fully serviced by our workshop.

The Ref.2520 holds a special place within Omega’s history, positioned as a premium model above the Ref.2577.
