オメガのフラッグシップモデルであるコンステレーション。本作は、中央が電着塗装のホワイト、外周が同心円状のヘアライン仕上げとなった通称“パイパンダイヤル”を採用しています。時分針はすべて専用のショートサイズで構成されており、パイパン内周に沿うように美しく設計されています。台形型のファセットを持つバーインデックスは、上位機種らしい意匠。輝きの強いホワイトダイヤルに、繊細なブラックプリントとクロスラインがアクセントとして加わり、全体を引き締めています。夜光塗料のない構成により、よりドレッシーな印象が強調された一本です。

搭載ムーブメントは全回転式自動巻のCal.551。オメガが誇る第2世代キャリバーで、550番台以降は構造の簡素化と信頼性の両立が図られ、無駄のない洗練されたメカニズムへと進化を遂げています。その結果、機械の自由度がデザインにも反映され、スタイリッシュで完成度の高い外装が実現されています。

ダイヤルは写真の通り、全体にわたって細かなエイジングの痕跡が見られますが、自然なトーンで表情を深めています。針には酸化皮膜が見受けられますが、ご購入後のご希望に応じて除去も承ります。インデックスやアプライドのΩロゴは、鏡面メッキの艶やかな反射をしっかりと保っており、美しいコンディションです。ケースは良好なプロポーションで、特にベゼルのエッジがシャープに残っており、当時の雰囲気をリアルに感じられる仕上がりです。弊社にて分解掃除済みです。

This Constellation is Omega’s flagship model, featuring the iconic “Pie Pan” dial, with an electroplated white center and a circular brushed outer ring. The hour and minute hands are specially designed in a short format, aligning perfectly along the inner edge of the Pie Pan structure. The trapezoidal faceted bar indexes are a refined detail, befitting a top-tier model. The brilliant white dial is accented with fine black print and crosshairs, lending a crisp and elegant impression. The absence of luminous material further enhances the dressy aesthetic of the piece.

Powering the watch is the fully automatic Cal. 551, Omega’s second-generation movement. The 550 series and onward marked a shift toward simplified yet reliable construction, resulting in a more refined mechanical structure. This evolution in movement design allowed greater freedom in case and dial styling, leading to a more stylish and highly accomplished external form.

As shown in the photos, the dial exhibits an even patina throughout, giving it a naturally aged character. The hands show signs of oxidation, which can be professionally removed upon request after purchase. The indexes and applied Omega logo retain their glossy mirror finish, offering excellent visual clarity. The case remains well-proportioned, with the bezel edge retaining sharpness—evoking the period aesthetic authentically. The watch has been fully disassembled and cleaned in-house.

The Constellation, named after the stars, is Omega’s iconic high-precision automatic watch, created in pursuit of ultimate chronometric performance.
