こちらのデイデイトは、機械式時計が最盛期を迎えた1973年製の一品です。1956年に発表されたこのモデルは、日付と曜日を表示する世界初の防水性能を備えたクロノメーター自動巻時計として、金無垢とプラチナのみで展開されています。18金無垢のオイスターケースは、フルーテッドベゼルが美しく輝き、重厚感のある仕上がりです。ダイヤルは、麻生地のような独特のテクスチャを持ち、一般的なサンレイ仕上げとは異なる輝きを放ちます。そのため、インデックスの上面にはブラックが配され、視認性が高められています。6時位置下部には「σ T SWISS T σ」表記のシグマダイアルが配され、1973年ならではのディテールが楽しめます。このシグマダイアルは、インデックスに貴金属が使用されていることを示していると言われています。

ケースは傷がほとんど見られず、優れたプロポーションを保っています。2時ラグ裏のホールマークもしっかりと視認できる点が注目ポイントです。ダイヤルは非常に良好なコンディションを保ち、高倍率のルーペで見ても劣化が感じられず、当時の仕上げが鮮明に残っています。針とインデックスは鏡面仕上げが美しく、ドットのルミナスも崩れずにベージュカラーで現存。ブレスレットには使用感が一切なく、美しい状態を保っています。弊社にて分解掃除済みです。

This Day-Date is a piece from 1973, a time when mechanical watches were at their peak. Originally introduced in 1956, this model was the world's first self-winding chronometer wristwatch with both day and date display, featuring water resistance. It has only ever been produced in solid gold and platinum. The 18k gold Oyster case boasts a fluted bezel that gleams brilliantly, exuding a sense of substantial luxury. The dial features a unique linen-like texture, offering a distinct radiance compared to the usual sunburst finish. To enhance readability, the tops of the indexes are accented with black. At the 6 o'clock position, the "σ T SWISS T σ" marking designates this as a Sigma dial, a detail characteristic of 1973. This Sigma designation indicates the use of precious metal in the indexes.

The case remains in excellent condition, free from noticeable scratches, maintaining well-preserved proportions. A noteworthy detail is the clearly visible hallmark on the underside of the 2 o’clock lug. The dial is exceptionally well-maintained, with no signs of deterioration even under high magnification, preserving the original finishing in remarkable clarity. The hands and indexes retain their mirror polish, and the luminous dots remain intact in an attractive beige hue. The bracelet shows no signs of wear, keeping its pristine condition. The watch has been fully serviced by us and is ready for use.
