COMMENT

ケース径28mmの小振りなカラトラバスタイルのケースは、上面がフラットのステップベゼルが特徴。ダイヤルはアールデコ様式の複雑なデザインです。2トーン仕上げ、ギルトのサークルライン、ミニッツトラック、チャプラーリングが織りなす複雑なデザインは、クロノグラフを彷彿とさせます。夜光なしモデルで、針はブルースチールのリーフを採用しています。

搭載するCAL.75は、モバードの手巻きムーブメントの中で最も古い部類に入り、その後のバリエーションの基盤となった名機です。1926年に製造が開始され、1960年頃まで様々な派生機が登場しましたが、11.5リーニュのCAL.75自体の生産数は少なく、希少性の高いムーブメントと言えます。CHRONOMETRE仕様は、4姿勢調整が施されたムーブメントにのみ表記が許されているものです。

ケースは大きなダメージは見られず、当時のエッジをそのままに保持しています。ダイヤルは素晴らしいコンディションで、この世代のダイヤルに多く見られるプリントの剥離は一切なく、高評価です。傷やダメージは最小限で、望みある中で最高のコンディションと言えます。針はブルーの色味を濃く残し、みずみずしさを感じさせます。弊社にて分解掃除済みです。

複雑なダイヤルデザインが計器のような印象を与えます。1930〜1940年代当時はクロノグラフでよく見られたデザインですが、このような3針時計では非常に珍しいものです。小さなサイズ感に、たっぷりと印字されたダイヤルが凝縮感あふれる作品となっています。

＜MOVADO（モバード）＞はマニュファクチュールとして複雑時計を得意としてきました。これまで、スポーツモデルではカルティエ、クロノグラフではゼニス、トリプルカレンダーではティファニーなど、名のある世界的有名ブランドにOEM供給や技術提供をしていたほどの実力派ブランドです。

COMMENT

This compact 28mm Calatrava-style case features a stepped bezel with a flat upper surface, a hallmark of the era's meticulous craftsmanship. The dial is a complex Art Deco composition with a two-tone finish, gilt circular lines, minute track, and chapter ring—design elements that evoke the look of a chronograph. It’s a non-luminous model, with elegant blued steel leaf hands completing the vintage aesthetic.

Powering the watch is the Cal. 75, one of the earliest hand-wound movements developed by Movado. First introduced in 1926, it served as the foundation for many variations until around 1960. The base Cal. 75 itself, however, was produced in limited numbers, making it a particularly rare movement. This example bears the "CHRONOMETRE" designation, which was reserved only for movements regulated in four positions.

The case retains its original edges with no major damage, and the dial is in exceptional condition. Unlike many examples from this era, the printing remains fully intact with no signs of flaking—an uncommon and highly desirable trait. The blued hands retain a vivid hue and fresh appearance. Fully disassembled and serviced by our watchmakers.

The dial’s intricate layout gives it an instrument-like character. While such designs were common in chronographs from the 1930s and 1940s, it’s exceptionally rare to find them on a three-hand watch. The small case size, combined with the densely printed dial, creates a sense of compression and precision rarely seen in vintage timepieces.
