ダイヤルはゴールドカラーに縦方向のヘアライン仕上げが施され、レターはロゴのみという素朴で洗練されたデザイン。針は根元を絞ったペンシル型で、分針はベゼルに届きそうなほど長めに調整されており、視認性を高めています。インデックスはドットをベースに、6・9・12時位置のみゴシック体のアラビア数字を採用。外周はチャプターリングが巡り、長い分針との相乗効果で読み取りやすさを向上させています。約30mm径のケースは、フラットベゼルにシリンダー型と、1940年代らしいクラシカルな意匠を湛えています。1時側ラグ裏にはホールマークが確認できます。こちらは固定ラグモデルです。

ケースは使用傷の少ない良好なコンディション。ベゼルやラグ上面にも目立った傷が見られず、美しい状態を保っています。ダイヤルはエイジングによる変化が少なく、落ち着いた輝きを維持。針はわずかな小キズが見られるものの、光を受けるときれいに反射し、存在感を放ちます。インデックスはくすみがなく、鏡面の輝きを保ったままです。弊社にて分解清掃済みです。

COMMENT

The gold-tone dial is finished with a fine vertical brushing, featuring only the brand logo in lettering—a minimalist and refined aesthetic. The pencil-shaped hands are tapered at the base, with the minute hand extending almost to the bezel, enhancing legibility. The indices are dot-based, with Gothic-style Arabic numerals at 6, 9, and 12 o'clock. A chapter ring encircles the outer edge, further improving readability in combination with the elongated minute hand. The case, measuring approximately 30mm in diameter, has a seamless, rounded profile with no step between the bezel and caseback—a classic silhouette characteristic of the 1940's. A hallmark is also visible on the reverse of the Paris-style lug at 1 o’clock.

The case is in excellent condition, showing minimal signs of wear. The bezel and upper lug surfaces are free of noticeable scratches, preserving the watch’s clean appearance. The dial has aged gracefully with very little discoloration, maintaining a soft luster. The hands show minor marks, but reflect light beautifully and retain a strong presence. The indices remain bright, with no tarnishing, and retain their original mirror finish. Fully disassembled and cleaned in-house.

This compact yet elegant Zenith dress watch features refined design cues reminiscent of the Patek Philippe Ref.96, such as the flat bezel and seamless lugs. A harmonious blend of vintage charm and practical functionality—an excellent piece for those seeking understated sophistication.
