ユニバーサル・ジュネーブの最高傑作、トリコンパックスです。3レジスターのクロノグラフに、トリプルカレンダー、そしてムーンフェイズとあらゆる複雑機構を一つに集約したCal.281を搭載しています。

希少なムーブメントを保護するスピリノケースはマイクロラウンドプッシャー・スクリューバックと当時の防水時計です。ケース左側の三つのプッシュは上から月の早送り、ムーンの早送り、そして日付の早送りです。竜頭は非純正品に交換されています。ダイアルは反射の強い縦ヘアラインのシルバーダイアル。外周は青タキ、バーインデックスとミニッツ、そして4つのインダイアルが位置します。インダイアルはそれぞれ、12時は日付とムーン、3時は30分積算系、6時は12時間積算系、9時は永久秒針を指します。針はキリッとしたドルフィンハンドを装備しており、ブルースチールの秒針や小針はダイアルのキワまでしっかりと届く、時計好きを唸らせる文句なしの意匠です。

ケースは細かな保管傷のみと傷が少なく、素晴らしいプロポーションを保っています。ダイアルはエイジングが最低限で、強く光を反射しています。針はエイジングにより、梨地のような艶消しのテクスチャに変化しています。ブルースチールの針、レッドプリントの針は色抜けがなく、ポイントカラーとしても素晴らしいです。弊社にて分解掃除は済ませています。作動テストを行い、全てのファンクションが好調に動くことを確認しています。ビデオを掲載していますので、ご確認ください。

トリコンパックスは、ユニバーサル社の創立50周年を記念してバーゼルワールドにて1944年展示された記念モデルでした。70年以上をも経過しても鮮烈なこの作品は、溢れんばかりの複雑機構や、反射の強い文字盤仕上げ、ポールルーターの意匠を継承したボンベイラグと、常に最上位機種として打ち出されていたことが見て取れる逸品です。

ユニバーサル・ジュネーブの歴史は二人の時計師、エミーユ・デコームとジョルジュ・ペレによって1894年スイスで創業されたところから始まる。高級感溢れるデザインウォッチや複雑時計の製造を得意とし、クロノグラフの名品＜コンパックス＞を開発したことで、その名を時計史に刻んだ名門のブランド。

The pinnacle of Universal Genève's craftsmanship, the Tri-Compax. Equipped with the Cal.281, it consolidates every complex mechanism, including a triple calendar and moon phase, into a 3-register chronograph.

The Spirinox case, designed to protect the rare movement, features micro-round pushers, screw-down case back, and was a waterproof marvel in its time. The three pushers on the left side control the rapid adjustment of the month, moon phase, and date, respectively. The crown has been replaced with a non-original part. The dial boasts a highly reflective vertical hairline silver finish. Around the periphery, you'll find a blue tachymeter scale, bar indices, minute track, and four sub-dials. Each sub-dial indicates different functions: the 12 o'clock shows the date and moon phase, 3 o'clock is the 30-minute accumulator, 6 o'clock is the 12-hour accumulator, and 9 o'clock indicates the continuous seconds. The watch features sharp dauphine hands, with the blued steel central and sub-dial hands reaching all the way to the edge of the dial, a design that would impress any watch enthusiast.

The case exhibits minimal signs of wear, maintaining its excellent proportions. The dial shows minimal aging, reflecting light strongly. The hands have developed a matte texture due to aging, while the blued steel and red-printed hands retain their original colors beautifully. We have disassembled and cleaned the watch, conducted operational tests, and confirmed that all functions are working perfectly. A video is available for your reference.

The Tri-Compax was showcased as a commemorative model at Baselworld in 1944, marking Universal's 50th anniversary. Even after over 70 years, this remarkable timepiece continues to impress with its complex mechanisms, highly reflective dial finish, distinctive Bombay lugs inherited from the Polerouter design, and its reputation as the top-of-the-line model.

The history of Universal Genève began in 1894 in Switzerland, founded by watchmakers Emile Decomb and Georges Perret. Specializing in luxurious design watches and complicated timepieces, the brand made a mark in horological history with its iconic chronograph, the Compax.
