1919年以来、永遠に作り続けられるCARTIERの名作タンク。1970年代から始まるディフュージョンラインであるマストシリーズの生産前に作られた、プレマストタンクです。18金張りのケース、文字盤に「must de」の表記が入らない、ホワイトローマンのフェイスは後のルイカルティエコレクションにも重なるデザインです。

ダイヤルはスーパーミントコンディションです。希少なケースですので、ケースは未仕上げです。気になるような劣化は少なく、優れたコンディションです。ベルトはタンク専用オリジナルのサイズのままに製作しております。カルティエ純正のバックルが装備されておりますので、そのオリジナル性をお楽しみ頂けます。

現在では、ジュエラーとして名高いカルティエですが、まだ懐中時計が主流だった1904年に本格的な腕時計を製作したのはカルティエが最初でした。「タンク」という名前は、“戦車”を意味し、第一次世界大戦中の終結に貢献したといわれる、ルノー製の戦車がデザインの基となっています。その中でもマストシリーズは文字盤のバリエーションが豊富にあります。

Since 1919, the Cartier Tank has remained an enduring icon of watchmaking. This is a rare *Pre-Must* Tank, produced before the introduction of the *Must de Cartier* diffusion line in the 1970s. It features an 18K gold-plated case and a classic white Roman numeral dial without the "must de" inscription, a design later echoed in the Louis Cartier collection.  

The dial is in superb, mint condition. Given the rarity of this case, it has been left unpolished. Signs of aging are minimal, and the overall condition is excellent. The strap has been custom-made to match the original Tank specifications, preserving its authentic proportions. Additionally, the watch is fitted with an original Cartier buckle, enhancing its originality and historical value.
