Ref.875.42はジャガー・ルクルトを代表するアラームウォッチ「メモボックス」の中でも、ブルーダイヤルを備えた希少なバリエーションです。ステンレススチール製のケースは端正なラウンドフォルムで、上下に二つのリューズを配したメモボックス特有の構成。ひとつは時刻調整と巻き上げ、もうひとつはアラーム機構を操作するためのもので、日常的に実用性の高い仕組みです。深みあるブルーのダイヤルにはアプライドバーインデックスが整然と並び、インナーリングにはアラーム時刻を示すディスクを装備。9時位置がJLロゴで仕上げられている点もユニークです。3時位置の日付表示が加わることで、バランスの取れたフェイスを実現しています。

Ref. 875.42 is a rare variation of Jaeger-LeCoultre’s iconic alarm watch, the Memovox, featuring a striking blue dial. The stainless-steel case presents a clean round profile with the dual crown configuration distinctive of the Memovox: one for winding and setting the time, and the other for operating the alarm. This practical system enhances its everyday usability. Applied bar indexes are neatly arranged on the deep blue dial, while an inner rotating disc indicates the alarm setting, highlighted with the JL logo at 9 o’clock. The date aperture at 3 o’clock adds balance and functionality to the design.

The case shows light surface wear but retains its well-defined profile. The dial exhibits only minor ageing to the blue tone, with all letter printing and branding crisp and intact. The hands display a slight patina yet remain well-shaped, while the luminous material has aged to an attractive beige, imparting a vintage charm. The alarm disc rotates smoothly, and the mechanism functions properly. Fully disassembled, cleaned, and serviced in-house.
