1958年製のオールドインターです。ドレスモデルの多いインターですが、一段とフォーマル要素が強いです。きらりと光るパールドロップのミニッツドット、ソリッドなドルフィンハンド、整然と並ぶ砲弾型インデックスは控えめな中にもIWCこだわりの意匠がしっかりと詰まっています。ケースは曲線と直線がはっきりと分かれた構成です。細く長いストレートラグは、上品でありながら腕をしっかりと覆う考えられた造りです。搭載ムーブメントは手巻きのCal.89。1950年ごろから1970年ごろにかけて長期に渡りIWCを支えてきた名機です。

コンディションが特に重視させるドレスモデルであるからこそ、厳正に判断しましたが、総じて素晴らしい状態です。ケースは傷が少なく良いシェイプです。ベゼルのエッジや、ラグのカッティングはオリジナル同様のプロポーション、鏡面とヘアライン仕上げがしっかりと分かれています。ダイヤルは汚れのない綺麗な状態です。針やインデックスに、気になるような劣化は出ていません。弊社にて分解掃除済みです。

スナップケースながら防水のスペックを備えており、貴重な初期のお魚リューズが付属しています。 小ぶりなサイズ感でヴィンテージらしさがより感じられます。日常使いはもちろん、初めてのアンティーク時計としてもお勧めです。

COMMENT

This is an Old Inter from 1958. While Inter models often lean towards the dressier side, this one exhibits an even stronger formal aesthetic. The sparkling pearl drop minute markers, solid dolphin hands, and neatly arranged bullet-shaped indices all subtly encapsulate IWC's attention to detail. The case design distinctly separates curves from straight lines. The slender and elongated straight lugs are thoughtfully crafted to be elegant yet firmly cover the wrist. It houses the hand-wound Cal.89 movement, a renowned caliber that supported IWC from around the 1950s to the 1970s.

Given its significance as a dress model, we scrutinized its condition meticulously, and overall, it's in excellent shape. The case shows minimal signs of wear and is in good shape. The bezel edges and lug cuttings maintain original proportions, with distinct separation between mirror and brushed finishes. The dial is immaculately clean without any noticeable blemishes. There's no concerning degradation on the hands or indices. It has been disassembled and cleaned by our team. 

Despite being a snap case, it boasts waterproof specifications and comes with the rare early fish crown. Its modest size exudes vintage charm, making it suitable for everyday wear and as a recommended first antique timepiece.
