ケースは18Kイエローゴールド無垢製のクッション型で、表面にはリネン仕上げが施され、光の加減によって繊細な表情を生み出します。厚みのある造形はしっかりとした質量感を伴い、存在感を強調しています。ダイヤルはサンレイ仕上げのシルバーで、バーインデックスとバーハンドのクラシカルな組み合わせ。中央にブラックラインを配することで、視認性と引き締まった印象を兼ね備えています。ノンデイト仕様のシンプルなデザインが、ハイビートムーブメントの精緻さを際立たせています。Cal.4520Aはブリッジ式テンプ受けを採用し、耐久性と安定性を追求した設計であり、後の45GS VFAへと続く技術的系譜を築いた重要なムーブメントです。バックルは当時の金無垢オリジナルが付属し、ストラップは後年に交換されたCREDOR製で、前オーナーのこだわりを感じさせます。

本個体の状態は、ケースのリネン仕上げが鮮明に残されており、ベゼルエッジはシャープなまま保存されています。ノンポリッシュでオリジナルのプロポーションを完全に保持しており、各部の仕上げが当時の姿をとどめています。ダイヤルは工場出荷時に近い状態を維持し、変色や焼けが一切見られず、時代を感じさせない美しさを保っています。ムーブメントも良好なコンディションを維持しており、全体として完成度の高いヴィンテージ・グランドセイコーです。弊社にて分解清掃済みです。

The case is crafted in solid 18K yellow gold with a cushion profile, featuring a linen-textured finish that creates delicate reflections depending on the light. Its robust form conveys a notable sense of weight and presence. The dial is silver with a sunray finish, paired with baton indexes and baton hands in a classical arrangement. A central black line enhances legibility while lending the design a sharp, refined character. The absence of a date window underscores the purity of the design and highlights the precision of the high-beat movement. The Caliber 4520A, fitted with a full-bridge balance cock for improved durability and stability, represents an important chapter in the lineage that culminated in the celebrated 45GS VFA. This piece is accompanied by its original solid-gold buckle, while the strap is a later CREDOR replacement, reflecting the discerning choice of its previous owner.

This example is preserved in superb condition, with the linen finish on the case remaining crisp and the bezel edges sharp. Unpolished, the watch retains its original proportions and finishing details as they left the factory. The dial is exceptionally well-preserved, showing no signs of aging, discoloration, or burnishing, and remains as fresh as the day it was produced. The movement runs in excellent order, and overall the watch exemplifies the high standard of a vintage Grand Seiko. We have performed a full disassembly and cleaning.
