機械式グランドセイコーの最終モデルにあたる56GSです。安定した精度を誇るデイト仕様で、現代でも日常使いしやすい実用性を備えています。ケースは直線と曲線を巧みに組み合わせた構成で、控えめながらも個性のあるシルエット。ダイヤルはシンプルなホワイトで、端正なバーインデックスとバーハンドの組み合わせがクラシカルな雰囲気を漂わせます。

ケースは稜線がしっかりと残り、良好なプロポーションを維持しています。竜頭上部にわずかな打痕こそありますが、全体として当時の造形を崩すことなく保っています。ラグ周辺の傷が少ない点は見逃せません。ダイヤルは経年変化による色味の変化がほとんどなく、美しいホワイトを維持。針は鏡面の輝きを保ち、インデックスはブラックの艶がしっかり残った素晴らしい状態です。弊社にて分解清掃済みです。

The Cartier Santos Octagon Ref. 0907 is a ladies’ model produced in the 1980s. Its 25 mm stainless-steel case is paired with an 18K yellow-gold bezel, and the screws set around the perimeter highlight the geometric character of the octagonal design—an expression of Cartier’s refined approach to jewellery-inspired watchmaking. The softened interplay of straight and curved lines offers a gentle reinterpretation of the square Santos Galbée, resulting in a compact form that settles naturally on the wrist.

The case retains beautifully preserved hairline finishing throughout, with crisp facets on both the upper and side surfaces. The case-back engraving remains sharp, reflecting the careful handling this piece has received. The dial is an even, clean white with no cracks, and the blued-steel hands maintain their vivid colour. The Roman numerals show no chipping or wear, preserving their glossy presence. Fully serviced by our watchmaker.
