SEIKO 150M DIVER REF.6105-8000

セイコー150mダイバーの2ndモデル。前期モデルにあたるRef.6105-8000です。後期モデルであるRef.6105-8110は有名な植村ダイバーです。ケースデザインとリューズの作りが後期型と異なり、Cラインを描いています。また竜頭は後期型には簡易ロックが付きますが、前期はロックがありません。また、こちらは人気のロング秒針です。

付属のラバーストラップは社外品ですので、ご使用後すぐ破損する可能性があります。実使用の際は、十分ご注意ください。保証期間内であっても、ブレスの破損に関しましては保証できかねます。

傷がつきやすいベゼルの状態が良いこと、ケースのエッジ、文字盤の夜光が黒くないこと、この３つのポイントがこの時計の価値を高めています。針の夜光に若干の経年は出ていますが、あえて直していないことが見て取れます。弊社にて分解掃除は済ませています。

弊社にて整備後、日差＋11秒、パワーリザーブは47時間で作動してます。ダイバーズウォッチですので水気には強い時計ですが、竜頭が当時のオリジナルのため防水性はないとお考えいただいたうえでお使いください。

1960年代は、機械式腕時計は完成期とも言えるほどの発展を遂げた時期で、セイコーは精度コンクールの分野でも量産の分野でも、世界に追いつき、追いぬいた時代であった。同時に、「時計の電子化」が進展し、1969（昭和44）年12月にセイコーが世界初のクオーツ（水晶）腕時計を発売することにより、機械式腕時計からクオーツ腕時計へと大きく舵を切ろうとする時期でもあった。

This is the second model of the Seiko 150m Diver, referred to as the Ref.6105-8000, which corresponds to the earlier version. The later model, Ref.6105-8110, is the famous "Umetsu Diver." Unlike the later model, this one showcases a different case design and crown construction, forming a distinctive C-line. Additionally, while the later model features a simplified lock on the crown, the earlier model lacks this feature. Moreover, this model is known for its popular long second hand.

Please note that the accompanying rubber strap is aftermarket, and therefore, it may be prone to damage shortly after use. Please exercise caution when using it. Even within the warranty period, we cannot guarantee against damage to the bracelet.

The value of this watch is elevated by its well-maintained bezel, sharp case edges, and luminous markers on the dial that haven't turned black. Although there is some aging visible on the luminous hands, we have deliberately left them untouched. The watch has been disassembled and cleaned by our company.

Following our maintenance service, the watch operates with a daily rate of +11 seconds and has a power reserve of 47 hours. As it is a diver's watch, it is resistant to moisture; however, please be aware that the crown, being the original from that time, does not provide waterproofing.

The 1960s marked a period of significant advancement for mechanical wristwatches, with Seiko swiftly catching up with and surpassing the global competition in both precision contests and mass production. Concurrently, there was a surge towards the "electrification of timepieces," and with Seiko's groundbreaking launch of the world's first quartz (crystal) wristwatch in December 1969, it marked a significant turning point from mechanical to quartz watches.
