COMMENT

Born in the late 1960s to early 1970s, the Omega Dynamic emerged during an era of rapid advancements in space exploration and technology—an age that inspired bold visions of the future. This watch embodies that spirit with a design that looks as if it leapt from the set of a science fiction film. The dial features a striking combination of silver and blue, with radiating minute markers on the outer track that create a sense of depth and motion. The white-printed Omega logo, model name, and hands provide strong contrast, offering a clean yet commanding visual presence. The bracelet attaches via a screw-in ring on the case back—an exclusive design specific to this model.

While the case shows some light signs of wear, the chamfered edges on the lugs remain clearly defined, giving an overall excellent impression. The sunburst brushing that flows from the dial to the top of the case beautifully emphasizes its vintage character. The bracelet shows minimal stretch and offers a comfortable fit. The dial remains in mint condition, with no fading or wear to the print, allowing the original atmosphere of the piece to shine through. The first Omega "Dynamic" was unveiled to the public in 1968. Its elliptical case was one of the earliest examples of ergonomic design, shaped to follow the contours of the wrist. The crown was integrated into the case to preserve the clean flow of the design, and the strap could be easily swapped thanks to a removable case ring.
