30T2シリーズの中でも世代の古い銀色メッキのムーブメントを搭載したオメガ。ダイヤルは縦ヘアライン。夜光なしモデルで、シンプルなリーフハンドとブラックプリントのアラビア数字の組み合わせです。細かく刻まれたミニッツトラックは、視認性の高い秒針と合わせてより効果を発揮します。当時はまだセンターセコンドが珍しく、際立たせるためのブルースチールの秒針を使用しています。この針の配色は、オメガでは精度を誇る機種に用いられていました。無骨な厚みのあるケースは、スクリューバック仕様のカラトラバと、ハイスペックです。バックルは当時のステイブライトです。

搭載ムーブメントはCal.30T2SC。温度補正を担うために開発された切りテンプを備えたクラシックなムーブメントは、修理士なら一度は触ってみたい憧れの機械です。

ダイヤルは素晴らしいコンディションを保っています。高倍率のルーペで確認すると、わずかながらポツポツとした経年変化は見られるものの、フレッシュな色味を保っており瑞々しさを感じます。プリントは状態よく残っています。針は上面の鏡面仕上げが状態よく現存しており、ブルースチールの秒針は深みのある青を残しています。夜光なしのモデルであることも、ダイヤルコンディションが良い一因でしょう。ケースは手付かずと言っても良い、スーパーミントコンディションです。太くエッジの効いたラグやケースの厚み、手に持った際の当時のヘアラインの肌触り、素晴らしい迫力を携えています。弊社にて分解掃除済みです。

懐中時計をそのまま縮めた様なオーソドックスなオメガ30mmキャリバーは修理がしやすく、堅牢な作りが特徴的です。1940年代の30mmキャリバーでここまで状態の良いものは、我々ディーラーでもなかなか手に入らない代物です。オメガの歴史でも重要なモデルですので、実用かつコレクションとしても最良な一品です。

This Omega timepiece is equipped with an older generation silver-plated 30T2 series movement. The dial features vertical hairline patterns and is a no-lume model with a simple combination of leaf hands and black-printed Arabic numerals. The finely engraved minute track, paired with the highly visible second hand, enhances readability. During that era, center seconds were still uncommon, and a distinctive blue steel second hand was used to make it stand out. The color of this hand was often employed in Omega models known for their precision. The robust and rugged case has substantial thickness, employing a screw-back design, characteristic of high-spec Calatrava models. The buckle is the Stabilite style from that era.

The movement housed is the Caliber 30T2SC, a classic movement equipped with a cut compensating balance developed for temperature regulation. It's a coveted mechanism that any watchmaker would aspire to work on.

The dial is in excellent condition. When examined under high magnification, slight age-related changes can be observed, but the fresh coloration gives it a vibrant feel. The prints are well-preserved. The hands retain their mirror-finished surfaces in good condition, and the blue steel second hand has a rich blue tone. The absence of luminous material on the dial is one of the reasons for its excellent condition. The case is virtually untouched, presenting itself in superb mint condition with its thick-edged lugs, the tactile sensation of the original hairline finish, and a remarkable presence. The watch has been disassembled and cleaned by our company.

The Omega 30mm caliber, resembling a shrunken pocket watch, is known for its ease of repair and robust construction. A 30mm caliber in such excellent condition from the 1940s is a rare find even for us dealers. Given its historical significance within Omega's legacy, it stands out as an ideal piece for both practical use and collection.
