COMMENT

アラーム機能を搭載したオメガの前衛的なモデルであるメモマチック。ケースはパイロットラインと呼ばれる、フジツボのようなデザインは1960から1970年代にかけてオメガが展開したデザインです。ダイヤルはブラック × グレーで近未来的な配色です。オレンジの針はフライトマスターで慣れている方はクロノ針に感じるかと思いますが、秒針となっており常にランニングします。

ダイヤルはご覧の通り、オリジナルの色味をよく保持したミントコンディションです。トリチウムの夜光がオリジナルのままに、薄いベージュで現存していることは素晴らしいです。針のプリントが剥がれてしまっている個体が多く見られますが、こちらは良い状態を保っています。ケースは細かい傷は見られますが、大きな損傷は見られません。フジツボケースのオリジナルプロポーションをよく残しています。

1960年代後半のオメガ独自のスタイル。宇宙船の計器類を思わせる整然としたダイヤルは平坦で、湾曲したダイヤルだった60年代からの脱却を思わせます。この世代にしかない意匠はファンも多い時計です。

COMMENT

The Omega Memomatic stands out as an avant-garde model equipped with an alarm function. The case features a design known as the Pilot Line, reminiscent of a dashboard gauge, a style Omega explored in the 1960s and 1970s. The dial adopts a futuristic black and gray color scheme. The orange hand, although resembling the chrono hand in the Flightmaster, serves as the seconds hand and runs continuously.

Functions:

- Alarm Button at 2 o'clock:
- Pulling once activates the alarm.
- Pulling twice and adjusting the crown at 4 o'clock sets the alarm time.

- Crown at 4 o'clock:
- No pull: Manual winding.
- Pull twice: Time setting.

- Button at 3 o'clock:
- Pressing advances the date by one day.

The dial, as seen, is in a mint condition, maintaining the original color scheme well. The tritium lume, with a subtle beige hue, is remarkable for its preservation. While many watches of this model may suffer from peeled hand prints, this piece retains them in good condition. The case exhibits minor scratches but no significant damage, preserving the original proportions of the distinctive Pilot Line case.

Representing Omega's unique style of the late 1960s, the Memomatic showcases a well-organized dial reminiscent of spacecraft instruments.
