30mmキャリバーを搭載したオメガ。ブラックグレーのツートンダイヤルが特徴です。ルミナスを植字したアラビアインデックスや、針にたっぷりと塗布された夜光塗料など、当時のミリタリーウォッチの要素が随所に取り入れられています。本モデルは、スウェーデン政府がオメガに発注し、国民向けに販売されたもので、裏蓋には「SUVERAN」の刻印が施されています。オメガのロゴやミニッツトラック、スモールセコンドの目盛りに至るまで、すべて下地出し技法によって精緻に仕上げられています。スクリューバックのステンレスケースに、耐震装置付きのスモールセコンドムーブメント（30T2PC）を搭載し、実用性に優れた一本です。

ケースは良好なプロポーションを保ち、小傷も少なく、長年にわたり良好な環境で保管されていたことがうかがえます。ダイヤルのエイジングはごくわずかで、角度を変えると7時から9時にかけて若干の経年変化が見られる程度です。レールウェイミニッツははっきりと残り、シャープな印象を保っています。ルミナスは均一にベージュ色へと変化し、ヴィンテージウォッチならではの魅力を引き立てています。この年代の個体としては、最上級のコンディションを誇ります。弊社にて分解掃除済みです。

腕時計が普及し始めた1910年代から手巻き、自動巻と変遷を経て、クオーツ時計の開発によって機械式時計が衰退します。それ以前の1960年代に機械式腕時計はひとつのピークに達します。当時は日本でも三種の神器の一つだったオメガの時計。持つ人のステータスとなる高級品で、各メーカーが精度や防水性、耐久性など切磋琢磨し開発した時代。コストをかけて、より良い時計造りのためにしのぎを削っていました。

COMMENT

An Omega timepiece equipped with the renowned 30mm caliber, featuring a striking black and gray two-tone dial. The watch incorporates several military-style elements from its era, including Arabic numeral indexes with applied luminous material and hands generously coated with radium. This model was specially commissioned by the Swedish government and sold to the public, with the case back bearing the distinctive "SUVERAN" engraving. The Omega logo, minute track, and small seconds subdial are all finely executed using a relief engraving technique. Housed in a stainless steel screw-back case, it features the highly practical and shock-resistant small-seconds movement, the 30T2PC.

The case maintains excellent proportions with minimal wear, suggesting it has been well-preserved over the decades. The dial exhibits only slight aging, with minor patina visible between the 7 and 9 o’clock positions under certain angles. The railway minute track remains crisp, preserving the watch’s sharp aesthetic. The luminous material has aged uniformly to an appealing beige tone, enhancing the vintage character of the piece. For a watch of this era, it is in exceptional condition. The movement has been fully serviced by our workshop.

The 30mm caliber stands as one of Omega’s most iconic movements, used across various models of its time. Its robust and straightforward design ensured high precision, making it a benchmark in watchmaking technology.
