“コインケース”と呼ばれる薄型でシンプルなフォルムが特徴のコンステレーション。デイト機能を備え、すっきりとした清潔感のあるデザインは、ビジネスシーンにも最適な一本です。ダイヤルはシルバーのリネン仕上げ。1960年代後半に差し掛かり、ムーブメントの安定性が確立されることで、デザイン面により多くの工夫が見られるようになりました。バーインデックスとドーフィンハンドの上面にはブラックプリントが施され、洗練された中にも個性を演出しています。

ムーブメントにはクロノメーター規格をパスした高精度のCal.564を搭載。550番台以降のキャリバーは、無駄を極力省き、構造の完成度と信頼性が大きく高められました。その結果、機械側の制約が少なくなり、より自由度の高いダイヤルデザインが可能となっています。本モデルのように、精度と美観を両立させた機械式時計は、当時のオメガの到達点を示す好例です。

ケースは目立つ傷がなく、清潔感のある美しいコンディションを保っています。ラグやベゼルの複雑な面構成には、鏡面とヘアラインが巧みに切り分けられており、オリジナルのプロポーションがしっかりと残されています。ダイヤルはエイジングの兆しがほとんど見られず、当時の質感を保った良好な状態です。針やインデックスはメッキの剥がれがなく、艶のある鏡面仕上げが際立っています。弊社にて分解清掃済みです。

コンステレーションは、オメガの誇る高精度ムーブメントと自動巻き機構を兼ね備えたフラッグシップモデルとして誕生しました。本品はその中でも、クォーツショック以前、機械式時計が最も成熟していた時代に製造された一機であり、当時の技術と美意識が凝縮された一本です。

The Omega Constellation, known for its slim and minimalist silhouette often referred to as the “coin case,” presents a clean and understated aesthetic well-suited for formal and business settings. This particular example features a silver linen-textured dial—an elegant detail that reflects the late 1960s shift toward greater design experimentation, made possible by advances in movement stability. The bar indexes and dauphine hands are accented with black printing on their top surfaces, adding a subtle yet distinctive touch of refinement.

Powering the watch is the high-precision Caliber 564, a chronometer-certified automatic movement. Omega’s 550-series calibers marked a major step forward in technical refinement, stripping away excess while enhancing structural efficiency and reliability. With fewer limitations on the movement side, dial design during this era reached new levels of creativity and balance. This model exemplifies Omega’s ability to harmonize mechanical precision with visual sophistication.

The case remains in excellent condition, free of notable blemishes, and retains a clean, polished appearance. The intricate geometry of the lugs and bezel displays a thoughtful mix of mirror-polished and brushed finishes, preserving the original proportions with clarity. The dial shows virtually no signs of aging and retains the fine texture and tone of its era. The hands and indexes are free from plating loss, with their glossy mirror finish still intact. Fully disassembled and cleaned by our workshop.
