一見すると1970年代の時計に見えますが、実は1960年代後半のモデルです。主張の強い梨地仕上げのダイヤル、バーインデックスとバーハンド、そして放射状の仕上げが施されたベゼルが、その印象を強めています。それでもケース全体のシルエットは、まさに1960年代のオメガらしく、過渡期的なデザインが絶妙なバランスを醸し出しています。デイト機能やスクリューバック、すっきりとしたデザインは、汎用性の高い一本です。このケースはデイデイトのRef.166.032 / 168.023ではよく見かけますが、Cal.564搭載のデイトのみは案外数が少ないかもしれません。また、シーマスターでありながらクロノメーター基準をクリアしている点も見逃せません。

ケースはシルエットが非常に整っており、素晴らしいコンディションを保っています。側面や上面にはヘアライン仕上げが施されており、これが繊細な表情を生み出しています。ダイヤルはミントコンディションで、一切のやれ感が見られず、非常に美しい状態で、全体として非常に良好な印象を与えます。また、中央に施されたブラックのプリントは丁寧で、視認性とデザイン性の両方をしっかりと保持しています。弊社にて分解掃除済みです。

COMMENT

At first glance, this watch appears to belong to the 1970s, but it is in fact a product of the late 1960s. Its boldly textured matte dial, baton indexes and hands, and a radially brushed bezel all contribute to its contemporary impression. Yet the overall case silhouette remains true to Omega’s 1960s design language—resulting in a beautifully balanced, transitional aesthetic. With a screw-down caseback, clean dial layout, and practical date function, this is a highly versatile timepiece. While this case design is commonly seen on day-date models such as Ref. 166.032 / 168.023, the date-only version powered by the chronometer-certified Caliber 564 is comparatively rare. That this Seamaster meets chronometer standards further enhances its appeal.

The case retains a sharply defined silhouette and is preserved in excellent condition. Fine hairline brushing on both the top and sides gives it a refined, tactile surface and an understated elegance. The dial is in mint condition with no signs of aging, leaving a pristine and crisp impression overall. The centrally printed black text is sharply executed, offering a combination of clarity and sophistication. Fully disassembled and cleaned by our workshop.
