本品はCラインケースの前期型ならではのドーム型風防を備え、後期のフラットガラス風防と比べて、よりヴィンテージらしい趣が楽しめます。ステンレスに厚く金を被せたゴールドトップのケースに、繊細な刻みを持つフルーテッドベゼルを組み合わせ、ハイエンドモデルらしい風格を漂わせています。ダイヤルはゴールドのサンレイ仕上げで、バーインデックスとペンシルハンドにはブラックの塗装が施され、視認性を高めています。搭載ムーブメントはクロノメーター仕様の名機Cal.751で、2段引きによる日付早送り機構を持ち、曜日は針回しで調整する設計です。

ケースは美しいプロポーションを保ち、ケースサイドのエッジ部に施された面取りは鮮明に残っています。ダイヤルはミントコンディションで、サンレイ仕上げが光の角度によって濃淡を変え、フルーテッドベゼルとともに華やかな表情を演出。インデックスと針のブラックプリントや鏡面仕上げは劣化がなく、当時の質感をそのまま伝えています。夜光塗料は崩れなく良好で、ベージュ調へと変化した色合いがヴィンテージらしい趣を添えています。弊社にて分解清掃済みです。

This example features the domed crystal characteristic of early C-line cases, offering a more distinctly vintage presence compared to the later flat-glass versions. The gold-top case, with thick gold layering over stainless steel, is paired with a finely fluted bezel that adds to its high-end character. The dial is finished in a golden sunburst pattern, with bar indexes and pencil hands enhanced by black inlays for improved legibility. At its heart is the celebrated chronometer-rated Cal.751, equipped with a semi-quickset date via a two-stage crown pull and day adjustment through hand-setting.

The case retains excellent proportions, with sharp chamfers still clearly defined along the case sides. The dial is in mint condition, its sunburst finish shifting in tone as it catches the light, working in harmony with the fluted bezel to create a vibrant, elegant appearance. Both the black inlays and polished surfaces of the hands and indexes remain intact, faithfully preserving the watch’s original character. The luminous material is stable and has aged to an attractive beige, enhancing the vintage appeal. The movement has been fully disassembled, cleaned, and serviced by our watchmakers.

The refined tonneau-shaped C-line case was designed by the legendary Gérald Genta and stands as a hallmark of Omega’s design language around 1970. The Constellation, meaning “star cluster,” represented Omega’s pinnacle achievement by combining precision with automatic winding.
