アルミベゼルを備えたケースは、ラウンドプッシャーとスクリューバックケースを採用しており、信頼性の高い作りです。リファレンス2446は年式ごとにケース、ダイヤル、針のバリエーションが存在しますが、こちらはラグのファセットが大振りで、ベゼルの刻みが細かいMK2ケース。アプライドのアワーマーカーと、インダイヤルのアラビアフォントが旧式で、6時T SWISSのプリント入りのMK3ダイヤルを持ち、市場でも人気のあるRINDTと呼ばれる組み合わせの個体です。

ケースはオリジナルのラインを保ち、ラグの大胆なカットが現存しています。使用感は最低限で、大きな損傷は見受けられません。リューズやプッシャーのエッジはしっかりと残っています。プッシュのチューブにはメッキ剥がれがほとんどなく、十分に維持された状態です。ダメージを受けやすいベゼルは、発色が良好で美しい状態を保っています。ダイヤルはミントコンディションで、ルミナスは濃く焼けた素晴らしいベージュカラーを見せ、レターや針のプリントは綺麗に残っています。弊社にて分解清掃済みです。

COMMENT

This piece features a refined case with slender twisted lugs and a striking black two-tone dial, distinguished by subtle textural contrasts between the center and outer ring. The gilt printing enhances legibility and adds a warm elegance to the design. Dauphine hands pair with applied wedge-shaped indexes, with Gothic-style Arabic numerals at 3, 9, and 12 o’clock for added vintage character. A discreet small seconds subdial sits at 6 o’clock, with luminous material applied to the center of the hands and the outer tips of the wedge indexes for improved legibility. The applied Omega logo at 12 is mirror-polished, standing out with understated sophistication.

The case remains in excellent condition with only minor signs of use. The caseback retains a crisp “WATER PROOF” engraving, suggesting it has been carefully maintained. The central portion of the dial has aged to a soft grey, adding a nuanced patina, while the hands show only minimal tarnishing and retain their shine. The indexes are free from blemishes and remain in mirror-like condition. The watch has been disassembled and professionally cleaned by our team.

Seamasters with black gilt dials and 30mm calibers are increasingly rare, and the gentle fading here enhances its vintage appeal.
