1960年代後半のスタイルを色濃く反映した“Seamaster 120”。特徴的なのは、当時のモダンデザインを象徴するCラインケースとの組み合わせです。本モデルには36mmのフルサイズも存在しますが、こちらは30mmのミッドサイズ。ダイバーモデルとしては珍しい、控えめでスマートなフォルムとサイズ感が魅力です。クリック機構のない両方向回転ベゼルはスムーズな動作を見せ、視覚的にもすっきりとした印象を与えます。グレーマットのダイヤルには、12時・6時・9時位置にアプライドインデックスが配され、後期型ならではのホワイトプリントのレターと3針がさりげないアクセントを添えています。Ref.566.007と同じ仕様に見えますが、Ref.566.023は竜頭がねじ込み式です。

ケースは使用傷こそあるものの、全体として良好なコンディションを保っており、側面のファセットがシャープに残っています。誤った使用方法で破損していることの多い、ねじ込み式のリューズは、しっかりとロックが効く状態で現存しています。ベゼルは外周から色味が薄く変化しており、枯れて落ち着いた雰囲気を演出しています。ダイヤルは元来のグレーカラーを状態よく保っています。針はくすみのない状態で、ホワイトの夜光塗料は変色がなく清潔感を維持。インデックスに塗布された夜光塗料は均一にベージュへと変化し、全体のヴィンテージ感を高めています。弊社にて分解掃除済みです。

A Seamaster 120 that clearly reflects the design trends of the late 1960s. Its most distinctive feature is the combination with a C-line case, a hallmark of modernist design from that era. While a full-size 36mm version exists, this model is the more modest and refined 30mm mid-size. Unusual for a diver's watch, its sleek profile and compact proportions are part of its unique charm. The bi-directional rotating bezel operates smoothly despite the lack of a click mechanism, creating a clean, streamlined impression. The grey matte dial features applied indexes at 12, 6, and 9 o’clock, while the white-printed lettering and hands—a hallmark of later production models—add subtle contrast.

The case shows some signs of wear but remains in good overall condition, with the side facets still sharply defined. The screw-down crown, often prone to damage, remains intact—another positive sign. The bezel has gently faded around the outer edge, contributing to a calm, subdued aesthetic. The dial retains its original grey tone with excellent clarity. The hands remain free of tarnish, and the white luminous paint shows no discoloration, maintaining a clean appearance. The luminous material on the indexes has aged evenly to a warm beige, enhancing the watch’s vintage character. The watch has been disassembled and cleaned in-house.

Although it’s a diver’s watch, the narrow bezel and slim silhouette give the Seamaster 120 a classical air. It strikes a graceful balance between sportiness and elegance, making it a versatile companion that suits both formal and casual wear.
