30T2シリーズの中でも世代の古い銀色メッキのムーブメントを搭載したオメガ。温度補正を担うために開発された切りテンプを備えたクラシックなムーブメントは、修理士なら一度は触ってみたい憧れの機械です。当時はまだセンターセコンドが珍しく、際立たせるためのブルースチールの秒針を使用しています。ロレックスでは多々見られる針の配色ですが、オメガではあまり見かけません。視認性を上げるためのアラビア数字の向きが愛らしく個性的。細かく刻まれたミニッツトラックは、視認性の高い秒針と合わせてより効果を発揮します。無骨な厚みのあるケースは、クリューバック仕様のカラトラバと、ハイスペックです。

文字盤は時の経過を感じる色合ですが、目立ったシミや傷がなく、均一感のある状態です。崩れることなく残ったアラビア夜光が美しいベージュを保っています。ブルースチールの秒針はムラサキ掛かった色に変わりつつありますが、シルバーの長短剣は充分な艶感を残しています。ケースは当時のヘアライン仕上げを見ることのできる、そのままの雰囲気が残った良好なコンディションです。

懐中時計をそのまま縮めた様なオーソドックスなオメガ30mmキャリバーは修理がしやすく、堅牢な作りが特徴的です。80年近く経つ代物ですが、きちんとメンテナンスを施していますので、39時間のパワーリザーブに1日あたりプラス10秒程度の精度を確認しています。

During that era, center seconds were still uncommon, and to make it stand out, a blue steel second hand was utilized—a color scheme often seen in Rolex but less frequently in Omega. The charming and distinctive orientation of the Arabic numerals for enhanced visibility. The finely engraved minute track, coupled with the highly visible second hand, synergizes to maximize effectiveness. The robust and rugged case with substantial thickness is both a throwback to the Clous de Paris Calatrava and a high-performance marvel.

The dial, with its color suggesting the passage of time, remains in a uniform state without prominent stains or scratches. The remaining luminescent Arabic numerals exhibit a beautiful beige tone without any noticeable deterioration.
