ダイバーは勿論のこと、軍人や冒険家など多岐にわたるプロフェッショナルに選ばれた、レジェンドモデルです。左右非対称のフォルムが特徴で、竜頭をガードするためにその部分が膨らんだデザインになっています。竜頭には簡易ロックがついています。こちらは希少な最初期の「Proof / Proof」モデルです。ダイヤルとケースバックの防水表記がどちらも「RESIST」ではなく「PROOF」を採用していることから、この名称で呼ばれています。また、秒針は通常より長く、分針と同じ長さであることも特徴です。製造期間がわずか2ヶ月と言われており、針、ダイヤル、ケースバックの全てがマイナーチェンジしてしまうため、非常に希少で人気のあるモデルとなっています。

傷がつきやすいベゼルの状態が良いこと、ケースのエッジ、文字盤の夜光が黒くないこと、この3つのポイントがこの時計の価値を高めています。夜光塗料の色味が良く、素晴らしいコンディションです。針の夜光は根本が若干フェード化しています。

ムーブメントは6105Aにハック機能を付加した6105Bキャリバーを搭載しています。当店にて整備後、日差＋15秒、パワーリザーブは48時間で作動しています。ダイバーズウォッチですので水気には強い時計ですが、竜頭が当時のオリジナルのため、防水性はないとお考えいただいた上でご使用ください。

1960年代は、機械式腕時計は完成期とも言えるほどの発展を遂げた時期で、セイコーは精度コンクールの分野でも量産の分野でも、世界に追いつき、追いぬいた時代であった。同時に、「時計の電子化」が進展し、1969（昭和44）年12月にセイコーが世界初のクオーツ（水晶）腕時計を発売することにより、機械式腕時計からクオーツ腕時計へと大きく舵を切ろうとする時期でもあった。

This is a legendary model chosen by a wide range of professionals, including divers, military personnel, and adventurers.This model is distinguished by its asymmetrical form, with a bulged design to guard the crown. The crown features a simple locking mechanism, and this is the rare early "Proof / Proof" model, named because both the dial and case back bear the "PROOF" waterproof indication instead of "RESIST." Another unique characteristic is the longer second hand, which is the same length as the minute hand. This model, produced for only two months, is highly sought after due to the minor changes made to the hands, dial, and case back during its brief production run.

The value of this watch is significantly enhanced by three factors: the bezel's excellent condition, the sharp edges of the case, and the non-blackened lume on the dial. The luminous material retains a pleasing hue and is in superb condition, though the lume at the base of the hands has slightly faded.

The movement is the 6105B calibre, an upgraded version of the 6105A with hacking functionality. After servicing, it operates with a daily deviation of +15 seconds and a power reserve of 48 hours. While this is a diver's watch and thus resistant to water exposure, it should be noted that the crown is original from the period, so its water resistance cannot be guaranteed.
