セイコーの「61クロノ」。Cal.6139に12時間計を追加したCal.6138を搭載したモデルです。Ref.6138-3000はケース径42mmを誇ることから「ジャンボ」とも呼ばれています。中でもこちらは日本国内限定モデル（Japan Domestic Model = JDM）で、23石のムーブメントを搭載し、「23 JEWELS」の表記がある専用のダイヤル、そしてエンドリンクXAB 441のベビーパンダと同様のブレスレットを装備した、特に人気の高い仕様です。

ケースは肉厚な状態で残っておりどっしりとした安定感を与えてくれます。裏蓋側は使用傷こそありますが刻印などがしっかり確認できるため良い状態です。ダイヤルは傷もなく夜光塗料も剥がれはもちろんエイジングの跡も見られずミントであると言えます。弊社にて分解掃除済みです。

搭載されているCal.6138Bは、当時としては先進的だった垂直クラッチとコラムホイールを採用したキャリバーで、日本の技術力の高さを示しています。リューズのプッシュによる日付、曜日、言語の切り替え機能は非常に画期的です。「61クロノ」として知られるこのモデルは、諏訪精工舎が製造した国産時計初の自動巻きクロノグラフであり、名作と称されるにふさわしい時計です。

This is the Seiko "61 Chrono," featuring the Caliber 6138, an upgraded version of the Cal. 6139 with the addition of a 12-hour register. The Ref. 6138-3000, with its 42mm case diameter, is often referred to as "Jumbo." This particular model is especially desirable as it was a Japan Domestic Model (JDM) featuring a 23-jewel movement and a unique dial with the "23 JEWELS" marking. It also comes with the same bracelet as the Baby Panda model, equipped with XAB 441 end links.

The case remains in thick, solid condition, giving it a substantial and stable feel. While there are scratches on the case back from use, the engravings remain clear, indicating the overall excellent condition. The dial is free of any blemishes, with no signs of damage or aging on the luminous material, making this piece mint condition. It has been fully serviced by our company.

The Cal. 6138B movement inside was highly advanced for its time, incorporating a vertical clutch and column wheel, showcasing the sophistication of Japanese engineering. The crown's push mechanism allows for quick-setting of the date, day, and language, a groundbreaking feature. Known as the "61 Chrono," this model was the first automatic chronograph made in Japan by Suwa Seikosha and is rightly considered a masterpiece.
