COMMENT

本作はステンレススチール製の防水スクリューバックケースを採用し、実用性と堅牢性を兼ね備えています。ダイヤルはマットなホワイトの電着塗装が施され、視認性の高さと上質な印象が両立したデザインです。3・6・9・12時はアラビア数字、それ以外はクサビインデックスを配し、カッパーメッキが柔らかなアクセントを添えています。針は夜光付きのペンシルハンドで、クラシカルな表情と実用性を兼備。スモールセコンドはインデックスと干渉しないように中央寄りに設計されており、この時代らしい配慮が感じられます。

ケースは当時の姿をよく保っており、使用傷こそ見られるものの、プロポーションを損なわない良好なコンディションです。ダイヤルはヤケのほとんどないミントコンディションで、ホワイトの発色が美しく際立っています。弊社にて分解掃除済みです。

搭載ムーブメントは自社Cal.3000で、同系統のCal.3100と比較すると、巻き上げヒゲを備えた3000は前期型または上位仕様に位置づけられるキャリバーです。仕上げは赤胴メッキが施され、上質な雰囲気を漂わせています。また、緩急針から金色のデバイスが突き出す独自構造を採用し、ヒゲ棒とヒゲ受の双方が衝撃でヒゲが乗り上げるのを防ぐ仕組みとなっており、これはオメガの名機Cal.321にも見られる技術です。シンプルでエレガントな外観に、愛好家が評価するムーブメント技術が詰め込まれた一本で、日常使いにも適したレマニアらしい気品を備えています。

BRAND

1884年の創業当初から、 クロノグラフを手掛けるエボーシュメーカーとして活躍。1940年代には自社名を冠したミリタリーウォッチを製作し、イギリス軍やスウェーデン軍に軍用時計を供給しています。 特にイギリス軍には陸・海・空軍すべてに同社のクロノグラフが採用されるなど、信頼度の高さを証明しています。また、エボーシュメーカーとしては、1932年以降にOMEGAなどのムーブメントの供給元にもなっています。 1969年の、アポロ11号月面着陸の際にアームストロング船長の腕に巻かれていたオメガの＜スピードマスター＞の機械は、＜LEMANIA＞が手掛けていたことを忘れてはいけません。

COMMENT

This piece features a stainless-steel waterproof screw-back case, offering both durability and practical functionality. The dial is finished in a matte electro-deposited white, combining high legibility with a refined appearance. Arabic numerals are placed at 3, 6, 9, and 12 o’clock, while the remaining markers are faceted wedge indexes accented with soft copper plating. The luminous pencil hands balance classical styling with practical visibility. The small seconds is positioned slightly inward to avoid interference with the indexes—a thoughtful detail characteristic of the era.

The case retains its original form, showing signs of wear but maintaining strong overall proportions. The dial remains in mint condition with virtually no discoloration, allowing the white finish to stand out beautifully. Fully serviced by our watchmaker.

The watch is equipped with the in-house Cal.3000. Compared with the related Cal.3100, the presence of a Breguet overcoil in the 3000 positions it as an earlier or higher-grade variant within the same family. The movement features a warm copper-colored plating that enhances its refined appearance. It also incorporates a distinctive shock-resistant mechanism in which a gold-colored device extends from the regulator assembly—designed to prevent the hairspring from riding up over the pins during impact, a solution also seen in Omega’s renowned Cal.321. Beneath its simple and elegant exterior lies movement engineering highly regarded by enthusiasts, making it a refined example of LEMANIA craftsmanship suitable for everyday wear.

BRAND

Founded in 1884, Lemania earned its reputation as an ébauche manufacturer specializing in chronographs. By the 1940s the company was producing military timepieces under its own name, supplying watches to the British and Swedish armed forces. In the UK, Lemania chronographs were issued across the Army, Navy, and Air Force—testament to their reliability. As an ébauche maker, Lemania also supplied movements to various manufacturers, including Omega from 1932 onward. It is worth remembering that the movement inside the Omega Speedmaster worn by Commander Neil Armstrong during the Apollo 11 moon landing in 1969 was produced by Lemania.
