希少な手巻きのTANK。人気の高いアイボリー色の文字盤にローマンインデックスは、カルティエらしいシンプルなデザイン。バトンハンドは手巻きタンクに見られるブラックで、ブルースチールとは違った引き締まったフェイスです。ブルーのカボションリューズが際立つ配色は、品の良さを感じます。ベルトはクロコダイル製でタンク専用オリジナルのサイズのままに製作しております。カルティエ純正のバックルが装備されておりますので、そのオリジナル性をお楽しみ頂けます。機械にはETA2512-1を搭載。この世代のカルティエに多く用いられた機械で、パーツの入手がしやすいメンテンナス性の高い機械です。

ダイヤルはクラックのない優れたコンディションを維持。針はわずかなサビが見られますが、経年による風格を添えています。インデックスは艶感を保ち、プリントの欠けはありません。ケースは一部にうっすらとメッキ剥がれが見られるものの全体として良好な状態を保っています。リューズは当時のカボションが残り、欠けや損傷のない良好な状態です。弊社にて分解清掃済みです。

現在では、ジュエラーとして名高いカルティエですが、まだ懐中時計が主流だった1904年に本格的な腕時計を製作したのはカルティエが最初でした。「タンク」という名前は、“戦車”を意味し、第一次世界大戦中の終結に貢献したといわれる、ルノー製の戦車がデザインの基となっています。その中でもマストシリーズは文字盤のバリエーションが豊富にあります。

A rare manually wound Tank featuring the highly sought-after ivory dial with Roman numerals, embodying Cartier’s restrained design language. The baton hands are executed in black—distinct from blued steel—giving the dial a more defined and disciplined expression. The blue cabochon crown provides a refined accent, completing a composition of quiet elegance. The strap has been crafted in crocodile to the original Tank proportions, and the watch is fitted with a genuine Cartier buckle, preserving its authenticity. Powering the piece is the ETA 2512-1, a movement frequently used by Cartier in this era, valued for its reliability and serviceability.

The dial remains in excellent condition, free from cracks. The hands show slight oxidation consistent with age, lending appropriate character. The printed indexes retain their gloss with no visible loss. While faint plating wear is visible in limited areas of the case, the overall condition remains well preserved. The original cabochon crown is intact, free from chips or damage. Fully serviced by our watchmaker.
