PIAGETのヴィンテージ自動巻モデルです。ケースは18Kローズゴールド製で、当時のドレスウォッチとしては存在感のある36mm径。20mmのラグ幅を持つ力強いケースバランスに、スクリューバックを組み合わせた堅牢な構成です。ダイヤル中央は細かなギョーシェ仕上げで、同世代のヴァシュロン・コンスタンタンのクラシックピースを思わせる端正な表情を見せます。外周にパールドットのミニッツトラックを配し、ローズゴールドカラーのインデックスとドーフィンハンドが落ち着いた華やかさを添えています。ムーブメントは「BIDYNATOR PATENTED」と刻まれた17石の自動巻を搭載しています。

COMMENT

Piaget, a jewellery watch brand that has established a unique position as a manufacture. The solid 18k gold case features a delicate bark pattern finish. The bezel is flat with a mirror finish, showcasing its presence through the reflection of light. Unlike the snap-back commonly seen in dress watches, the case back is securely fastened with four screws, indicating solid craftsmanship. The Ref. 9251 comes in various dial designs, including those using gemstones, but this one features a classic white Roman dial.

The case is in good condition with minimal scratches, and the hallmarks remain perfectly intact. The dial is in excellent condition. Although it is a non-water-resistant watch, there is no evidence of past water ingress, and the hands are original. The watch has been disassembled and cleaned by our company, and it comes with a one-year operational warranty.

During the quartz crisis, there was a resurgence of mechanical watches, particularly in the form of simple hand-wound two-hand dress watches.
