ダイヤルはブラックミラーにバーインデックスを組み合わせ、細身のペンシルハンドには中央に夜光が配されています。無駄を抑えたシンプルなフェイスは、清潔感があり実直な印象です。インデックスは全体に小ぶりで、ダイヤルの広がりを引き立てています。3時位置にはカレンダーを備え、日常使いに適した実用性も備えています。ケースは1950年代の厚みを感じさせる造形とは異なり、1960年代らしい細身のストレートラグを備えたすっきりとしたデザインです。

ケースには使用に伴う小傷が見られますが、全体として清潔感のある状態を保っています。裏蓋とリューズの刻印はしっかりと残っており、当時の雰囲気を感じさせます。ブラックミラーダイヤルは経年により、木肌を思わせる独特の質感へと変化しています。夜光塗料はベージュカラーへ自然に焼けており、ヴィンテージウォッチならではの表情を楽しめます。針とインデックスのバランスも良く、全体として雰囲気のあるコンディションです。弊社にて分解清掃済みです。

COMMENT

This Seamaster comes from the height of the mechanical watch era. The dial is a restrained glossy black mirror dial, paired with baton indexes and pencil hands. Its clean, pared-back face gives the watch a fresh and honest impression. The indexes are relatively small, emphasizing the openness of the dial, while the date display at 3 o’clock adds practical functionality. The case is fitted with slim straight lugs typical of the 1960s, offering a more delicate profile than the robust cases often seen in the 1950s.

The case shows some signs of use, but it remains clean and well presented. The engravings on the caseback and crown remain clearly visible, preserving the atmosphere of the period. The dial has developed a distinctive woodgrain-like character through aging, while the luminous material has aged to an excellent beige tone.
