1960年代から1980年代まで製造されたRef.5513は製造年式により個性があります。1976年から1984年まではフィートファースト表示から縁無しルミナス最後までの製品群は通称マキシと呼ばれ、マキシマムなドットのルミナスで登場しました。その中で5代目のダイヤル、特徴としてSUBMARINERの表記が深度定格より長いです。マキシはそれ以前のものと比べると、ブラックが濃く、王冠ロゴのフォントがスリムで洗練されています。付属のブレスレットはRef.93150。搭載ムーブメントは20年以上活躍した、信頼性の高いムーブメントCal.1520です。

ケースは使用傷を伴いながら、プロポーションに優れます。ベゼルは一切のダメージが見られない、この上ないコンディションです。ダイヤルには気になるようなダメージは一切ありません。夜光塗料はベージュに色づき、良い表情です。針はオリジナルトリチウムで、最高評価の状態。ブレスレットは後年に純正で交換されていますので、伸びが少ないです。

Produced between the 1960s and 1980s, the Ref. 5513 exhibits unique characteristics depending on its production year. Models manufactured from 1976 to 1984—spanning the transition from "Feet First" text to the final "non-surrounded" (no-frame) luminous plots—are commonly known as the "Maxi" series, distinguished by their oversized luminous dots. This specific piece features the "Mark V" dial, characterized by "SUBMARINER" text that is longer than the depth rating line. Compared to earlier versions, the Maxi dial boasts a deeper black hue and a refined, slimmer font for the coronet logo. It comes fitted with the Ref. 93150 bracelet and is powered by the Cal. 1520—a highly reliable movement with a proven track record spanning over two decades.

While the case shows signs of wear, its proportions remain excellent. The bezel is in impeccable condition, free from any damage. The dial is likewise free of any significant flaws, with the luminous material having aged to an attractive beige tone. The hands retain their original tritium and are in superb condition. The bracelet was replaced with a genuine Rolex unit at a later date, resulting in minimal stretch.

This is a Ref. 5513 with a matte dial, produced between 1966 and approximately 1984. It is a rare pleasure to offer such a mint-condition example from the final year of the "non-surrounded" luminous plot era. Key components—including the dial, hands, and bezel insert—remain in excellent condition.
