ケースはツイストラグで3時側が隆起した形状。それはリューズガードの機能を持っています。ベークライトベゼルは、1966〜67年製に見られる、フラットな「1」、カールした「3」、トップが平坦な「4」といった特徴を持つフォントを採用。ブラックマットダイヤルは抜き文字によるギルト仕様で、シンメトリーなフェイスを特徴とするノンデイトダイヤル、そしてビッグトライアングル。日本で“キャタピラー”の愛称で親しまれるフラットリンクブレスレットは、Ref.1039とエンドリンク516の組み合わせ。クラスプは67/4の刻印が確認できます。

COMMENT

The case features twisted lugs with a raised contour on the 3 o'clock side, effectively forming an integrated crown guard. The Bakelite bezel displays the distinctive font style found on examples produced circa 1966–67, including a flat-topped “1”, curled “3”, and squared-off “4”. The black matte dial showcases gilt printing with cutout numerals, a no-date configuration for a clean, symmetrical appearance, and the iconic Big Triangle at 12 o’clock. The flat-link bracelet, affectionately nicknamed “Caterpillar” in Japan, is the Ref. 1039 paired with 516 end links. The clasp bears the stamp “67/4”.

Exceptionally well-preserved for a diver’s watch, this piece shows no major damage on the bezel or case, and the edges remain crisp and defined. The luminous material on the dial and hands has aged with pleasing consistency, retaining both beauty and legibility. Fully disassembled and professionally serviced by our workshop.
