BRAND
現在ではジュエラーとして名高いカルティエだが、まだ懐中時計が主流だった1904年に本格的な腕時計を製作したのはカルティエが最初であった。アルベルト・サントス・デュモンという飛行家からの「飛行中に手を離さずに見ることができる時計がほしい。」という依頼が誕生のきっかけで、「サントス（SANTOS）」の名を冠した腕時計が1911年に一般発売された。

This round model is a reinterpretation of the traditional Santos square model.
BRAND
Cartier, renowned as a jeweler today, was the first to create a genuine wristwatch in 1904 when pocket watches were still prevalent. The request came from aviator Alberto Santos-Dumont, who wanted a watch he could easily read while flying. Thus, the "Santos" wristwatch was born in 1911.
