雰囲気の良いシーマスターカレンダーです。

日付表示が導入された初期のシーマスターカレンダーです。その後は3時位置のカレンダーがスタンダードになるため6時位置のカレンダー窓は日付表示の時代の流れの変遷を感じるモデルです。ケースはゴールドトップやキャップゴールドと呼ばれる構造で、メッキの難しいステンレスを母材に厚めに金の層を被せた造りになっています。メッキとは違い多少の研磨ができる程の厚みがある為、通常の仕様では金色が剥げる事がまずないので安心感もあります。裏側からはステンレスの縁に金の層を見ることが出来ます。

ダイアルはパウダーホワイトにクサビ型インデックスの50年代らしい意匠。若干の経年変化はありますが、気になるものでもなく良好なコンディションをキープしております。ケースも打ちキズもない良い状態の個体です。
ムーブメントはバンパー式自動巻きのCal.355を搭載、コツコツと腕に振動を感じる手巻から自動巻きへの変遷を感じる面白いキャリバー。ビンテージ機械式時計の実感を持てる機械。

ベルトは当店にてオリジナルで製作しているカーフベルトを合わせています。

Presenting an elegant Seamaster Calendar with a charming atmosphere.

This model is one of the early Seamaster Calendars featuring the introduction of a date display. The calendar window at 6 o'clock reflects the evolution of the era when date displays were placed at different positions, contrasting with the later standardization at the 3 o'clock position. The case, known as cap gold or gold top, is constructed by overlaying a thick layer of gold onto a stainless steel base. This method, offering a thicker layer than regular plating, allows for some polishing without risking the gold color fading. The back reveals the stainless steel edge with a layer of gold.

The dial has a powder-white color with arrow-shaped indices, representing the design trends of the 1950s. While there's slight aging, it's in excellent condition with no significant issues. The case is also well-preserved without noticeable scratches.

The movement is powered by the Cal.355 automatic bumper movement, offering a fascinating transition from manual winding with a distinct vibration to automatic winding. It provides a tangible experience of vintage mechanical watches.

The watch comes with our custom-made calf leather strap from our original collection. We offer various straps in different colors and materials, available for separate purchase.

Having undergone maintenance, including disassembly and cleaning, in our repair workshop, this watch is ready for immediate use upon purchase.
