COMMENT

グレーマットのベースに、3時・6時・9時位置にそれぞれ30分積算計、12時間積算計、スモールセコンドが配置されています。各インダイヤルの外側にはドット夜光が配され、細部の仕様にこだわりが見られます。ムーブメントは、Cal.861をベースに改良されたCal.911を搭載し、9時位置の秒針表示や10時位置のリューズによるデュアルタイム針の操作、8時位置からインナーベゼルを操作できる設計など、多機能でありながら視認性に優れた構成となっています。ガラスは2世代目のモデルのためフラットなミネラルガラスとなっており、傷がつきにくい構造となっております。ブレスレットは初期仕様のRef.1159、エンドリンクは155が装備されています。

ケースはノンポリッシュのままで、これまでの使用歴を物語る自然な風合いを残しています。ダイヤルは夜光周辺にわずかなにじみが見られる箇所がありますが、脱色や焼けといった劣化は見られず、全体としては素晴らしい保存状態です。針とインデックスに塗布された夜光塗料は経年によりブラウンに変化し、温かみのあるクラシカルな印象を与えています。分針とクロノグラフ秒針には黒いくすみが見られますが、視認性には影響しておらず、パティナとして自然に受け入れられる範囲です。弊社にて分解清掃済みです。

Ref.145.026は、1971年にアップグレードされたフライトマスターの第2世代であり、多彩なダイヤルバリエーションが存在する世代です。初代との相違点として、9時位置が24時間表示からスモールセコンドへと変更されており、Cal.911の実用性をさらに高めた仕様となっています。搭載ムーブメントはLEMANIA社製ムーブメントをベースとしており、スピードマスター同様のシリアル検索により1971年製と確認されています。NASAに採用されたスピードマスターに対し、フライトマスターはソビエトの宇宙機関「ロスコスモス」にて公式採用されており、パイロットウォッチの名機として歴史に名を刻んでいます。

COMMENT

Set against a deep navy blue base, this model features a 30-minute counter at 3 o’clock, a 12-hour counter at 6, and a small seconds sub-dial at 9, with luminous dot markers on each sub-dial for enhanced readability in low light. The watch is powered by the Caliber 911, an upgraded version of the Cal.861, offering additional functions such as a dual-time hand operated via the crown at 10 o’clock and an internal rotating bezel controlled by the pusher at 8 o’clock—all within a legible and thoughtfully organized layout. As a second-generation model, it is equipped with flat mineral glass, offering improved resistance to scratches. The bracelet is an early-generation version featuring flat end links engraved with the reference number 155, while the clasp is stamped with the code 1159.

The case remains unpolished, preserving the natural character and wear that tell its history. The dial shows only minimal luminous bleed in select areas, with no signs of discoloration or sun damage, making for an exceptional overall condition. The luminous material on the hands and indices has aged into a warm brown tone, lending a vintage charm. While some oxidation is visible on the minute and chronograph second hands, it does not impair legibility and falls within the acceptable range of natural patina. Fully disassembled and cleaned by our workshop.

Reference 145.026 represents the second-generation Flightmaster, introduced in 1971. This version offers several dial variations and an upgrade from the earlier 24-hour indicator to a more practical small seconds sub-dial at 9 o’clock, further enhancing the functionality of the Cal.911. The movement, manufactured by Lemania, has been date-confirmed to 1971 via its serial—paralleling Speedmasters of the same era. While the Speedmaster was officially adopted by NASA, the Flightmaster holds its place in history as the pilot’s chronograph of choice for the Soviet space agency, Roscosmos.
