ブラックミラーダイヤルを備えたダイバーズモデル。針は分針が視認性に優れたアロー型で、秒針にはスクエア状の夜光が先端に塗布され、根本側には稲妻を模したユニークな意匠が施されています。インデックスはバータイプを基調とし、6・9・12時にはアラビア数字が内包されており、視認性とデザイン性を両立した構成です。2時位置のリューズはインナーベゼルの操作用、4時位置のリューズは1段引きで時刻合わせが可能となっています。ケースはEPSA社製のスーパーコンプレッサーケースを採用。厚みのある堅牢な構造に加え、スクリューバック仕様で、当時200mの防水性能を誇っていました。当時物のトロッピックバンドが付属します

ケースは目立つ使用傷もなく、特に側面は鏡面のような美しさを維持した良好なコンディションです。裏蓋には発売当時の保護シールが残っており、未使用に近い状態が保たれていることがうかがえます。ダイヤルはブラックミラーの艶やかな質感を残しており、エイジングによる劣化は見られません。針には若干のサビが確認されますが、視認性に支障はなく、実用性は確保されています。インデックスのくすみや傷は最小限に留まり、内部のアラビア数字も明瞭に確認できます。夜光塗料は針・インデックスともにホワイトに近い状態を維持しており、全体として非常にバランスの取れた美観を備えています。弊社にて分解清掃済みです。

こちらは1960年代後期に製造されたLIPの希少な“NAUTIC-SKI”。エレクトロニックムーブメントを搭載したスーパーコンプレッサー仕様のダイバーズウォッチです。ゼンマイの代わりに電池で駆動する半機械式ムーブメント（電磁式）を採用しており、当時の先進的な技術が反映された一本。夜光付きインデックスにアラビア数字を組み合わせたユニークなデザインや、電磁式ならではの稲妻針など、この時代特有の造り込みと個性が凝縮された逸品です。なお、消費電力の関係から電池寿命はおおよそ1年前後となります。

1807年創業のフランスを代表する老舗時計ブランド、LIP（リップ）。第一次世界大戦中にはフランス軍の砲兵将校へミリタリーウォッチを供給し、戦後も国家的な公式時計としての役割を担ってきました。第二次世界大戦後には、フランス政府の依頼により英国首相ウィンストン・チャーチル氏に「T-18」と呼ばれるモデルを献上。また、1952年にはエレクトリック・ムーブメントを開発し、フランス政府から各国首脳への贈呈品としても採用され、「プレジデント・ウォッチ」として知られる存在となりました。革新的な技術と独自性に富んだデザインは、現在も多くのコレクターを魅了し続けています。

COMMENT

This diver’s model features a striking black mirror dial, paired with a bold and highly legible arrow-style minute hand. The seconds hand is especially distinctive, with a luminous square at the tip and a lightning bolt motif near the base—an eccentric yet memorable design detail. The indices are primarily baton-style, with large Arabic numerals embedded at 6, 9, and 12 o’clock, offering an excellent balance of visibility and design flair. The crown at 2 o’clock operates the inner rotating bezel, while the 4 o’clock crown allows for time setting via a single pull. The case is built by EPSA (Ervin Piquerez SA) and utilizes the renowned Super Compressor construction, featuring a robust profile with a screw-down caseback and originally rated for 200 meters of water resistance. The watch is accompanied by its original Tropic rubber strap.

The case is in excellent condition, with no noticeable signs of wear. The polished sides remain mirror-like, and the original caseback sticker is still intact—evidence of minimal use. The dial retains its lustrous gloss, with no aging or deterioration. While minor oxidation is present on the hands, it does not impair legibility or functionality. The indices show only light patina and remain crisp, with the internal Arabic numerals clearly legible. The luminous material on both hands and indices has aged evenly and remains close to white, giving the watch a well-balanced and cohesive vintage aesthetic. The watch has been fully disassembled and cleaned by our workshop.

This is the rare NAUTIC-SKI from LIP, produced in the late 1960s. It features a Super Compressor case and is powered by an electro-mechanical movement—a pioneering technology of the time that operates on battery power instead of a mainspring. The lightning bolt-shaped hand and the luminous Arabic-index combo reflect the forward-thinking design sensibilities of the era. With its unique construction and distinct aesthetics, this piece is a compelling representation of 1960s watchmaking innovation. BRAND

Established in 1807, Lip is a venerable French brand. Post World War II, the brand created a watch called T-18, presented to former British Prime Minister Winston Churchill at the request of the French government. During World War I, Lip supplied military watches to French artillery officers. In 1952, Lip developed an electric movement and presented it to various presidents worldwide, earning the title of "President's Watch" from the French government.
