マストシリーズは、ダイヤルバリエーションの豊富さが最大の魅力といえるでしょう。数ある中からお気に入りの一本を選ぶ楽しみがあり、本機は1970年代にのみ見られるインデックスレスのタイプです。ダイヤルは深みのあるブラックで、盤面を走る金色のバトンハンドとレターのみで構成されたフェイスは、引き算の美意識に裏打ちされた高級感を湛えています。

ケースは若干の使用傷が見られますが、全体的に少なく、良好なコンディションを保っています。ダイヤルは、タンク特有のクラックが入っておりますが、大きく目立つものではありません。針はうっすらとしたくすみが見られますが、視認性や印象を損なうほどではありません。弊社にて分解清掃済みです。

現在では、ジュエラーとして名高いカルティエですが、まだ懐中時計が主流だった1904年に本格的な腕時計を製作したのはカルティエが最初でした。「タンク」という名前は、“戦車”を意味し、第一次世界大戦中の終結に貢献したといわれる、ルノー製の戦車がデザインの基となっています。その中でもマストシリーズは文字盤のバリエーションが豊富にあります。

One of the most captivating features of the Must de Cartier Tank series is its exceptional variety of dial designs. This particular piece, produced only in the 1970s, features a rare no-index dial configuration. The deep black dial, adorned solely with slender gold baton hands and the Cartier signature, embodies an understated luxury rooted in minimalist elegance.

The case shows only minor signs of wear, retaining its sharp proportions and clean lines. The dial bears the characteristic hairline cracks often seen on vintage Tank models, though they remain discreet to the eye. The hands show light patina but maintain their luster and do not detract from the overall appearance or legibility. The movement has been fully serviced by our workshop and is in excellent working condition.
