CARTIERの代表的なモデルのひとつ“VENDOME”。12時位置と6時位置で時計のフェイスを支えるラグが、このモデルの特徴です。クォーツならではの薄さを実現しており、袖口を邪魔することなく着用できます。陶磁器のような品のあるラッカーホワイトのダイアルにローマンインデックスは、凛とした顔つきを見せます。 ベルトは弊社で製作した、ヴァンドーム専用のクロコダイルベルトを付けています。

ケースは未仕上げですが、小傷の少ない清潔感のあるコンディション。ダイヤルはプリントの剥がれがなく、当時のままを現存しています。カボジョンリューズは貴石を含め、劣化が見られません。

VENDOMEはルイ・カルティエが馬車でパリのヴァンドーム広場を通りかかった時、車輪の取り付け部分を見てその形を閃いたことから命名されました。 その際、同乗していたのは、『老人と海』などで知られるアメリカの小説家、アーネスト・ヘミングウェイだったという逸話も残されています。日々のコーディネイトに添えて、ワンランク上のおしゃれが楽しめそうです。

One of CARTIER's iconic models, the "VENDOME," is characterized by lugs supporting the watch face at 12 o'clock and 6 o'clock positions. Achieving a thin profile unique to quartz, it allows for comfortable wear without interfering with cuffs. The dignified lacquer white dial resembling porcelain, adorned with Roman numerals, exudes a refined demeanor. It comes with a crocodile leather strap specially crafted by us for the Vendome model.

The case remains unfinished but exhibits a clean condition with minimal scratches. The dial retains its original state without any signs of print fading. The cabochon crown, including its gemstone, shows no signs of deterioration.

VENDOME was named after Louis Cartier was inspired by the wheel attachments of a carriage while passing through Place Vendôme in Paris. An anecdote suggests that the companion during this moment was the American novelist Ernest Hemingway, known for works like "The Old Man and the Sea."
