Ref.807Aは1960年代後半に製造されたIWCのオートマチックモデルで、同社を象徴するCal.8541を搭載しています。Cal.8541はIWC独自のペラトン方式を採用し、両方向回転で効率的にゼンマイを巻き上げる優れた機構を備えています。このムーブメントは信頼性の高さから現代のIWCにも受け継がれており、当時の技術革新を象徴する存在です。ケースはステンレススチール製で、約35mm径。ストレートラグと細身のベゼルを組み合わせたシンプルなラウンドフォルムが特徴で、ダイヤルの美しさを引き立てています。

ケースは使用に伴う小傷が見られるものの、オリジナルのフォルムをよく保ち、ラグやベゼルのラインは明瞭に残っています。ダイヤルは緩やかにカーブした構造に放射状のヘアライン仕上げを施しており、光が差し込む角度によって環を描くように表情が変わります。細いバーインデックスと、根元が細く絞られたペンシルハンドとの組み合わせは、繊細かつ実直なデザインであり、IWCらしい控えめな美意識を感じさせます。弊社にて分解清掃済みです。

This movement employs IWC’s proprietary Pellaton winding system, which efficiently winds the mainspring through bi-directional rotor motion. Renowned for its reliability, the Cal. 8541 remains a cornerstone of IWC’s technical heritage, representing the brand’s innovative spirit of the era. The stainless-steel case measures approximately 35 mm and features a simple round profile with straight lugs and a slim bezel that highlights the elegance of the dial.

The case shows light signs of use but retains its original form, with the sharp lines of the lugs and bezel clearly preserved. The dial has a gentle curvature and a radial sunburst finish that captures light in shifting circular patterns. Slim bar indexes pair with pencil hands tapered at the root, resulting in a restrained and precise design that reflects IWC’s understated aesthetic.
