COMMENT

18金無垢ケースにブラックギョシェダイヤルを搭載したハイエンドモデルです。ダイヤルはクロスラインに、12.3.6.9のインデックスがアラビアでスポーティです。OMEGAのレターがアプライドではなく、下地出しで最初期の特徴となっています。搭載ムーブメントはCal.354。バンパー式ムーブメントで時代を感じさせる逸品です。

ダイヤルはミントなコンディションです。バンパー搭載機のコンステレーションは年式のためかエイジングが表れているものが多いですが、当時のままの質感で好感が持てます。ケースは研磨歴が見られずプロポーションがとても良いです。ラグやベゼルなどの鏡面が美しく角にはエッジが立っており、酷使されてきていなかったことが見られます。こちらは分解掃除は行っておりません。

センテナリーの成功から自動巻クロノメーターモデルを本格的に生産開始し始めた、ファーストロットのコンステレーションです。ここまでミントな個体を扱える機会はほとんどありません。オメガの歴史的モデルの希少な初期バンパー搭載機をミントな質感で楽しめる、希少な機会となっています。

A high-end model featuring an 18k solid gold case paired with a black guilloché dial. The dial is adorned with crosshairs and Arabic numerals at 12, 3, 6, and 9, giving it a sporty character. Notably, the OMEGA signature is not applied but rather executed in a recessed relief, a hallmark of the earliest examples. Powering the watch is the Cal. 354, a bumper automatic movement that perfectly captures the charm of its era.

The dial remains in mint condition. While many Constellations with bumper movements show signs of age due to their production period, this example retains its original texture and appeal. The case shows no evidence of polishing, preserving its superb proportions. The mirrored surfaces of the lugs and bezel remain beautifully intact, with sharp edges that speak to a life of careful preservation. The watch has been fully disassembled and cleaned in our workshop.

This is a first-lot Constellation, produced as Omega began full-scale production of automatic chronometer models following the success of the Centenary. Opportunities to handle an example in such mint condition are exceedingly rare. It offers the chance to enjoy one of Omega’s historically important early bumper-powered Constellations with a level of preservation seldom seen on the market.
