1939年製のオメガ、Cal.23.4SCT1を搭載した初期センターセコンドモデルです。こちらはフランス市場向けに製造された個体で、ダイヤル中央には「FAB. SUISSE」の表記が見られます。ダイヤルはツートン仕様で、中央部はわずかに艶を帯びたシルバーフィニッシュ、外周のチャプターリングはマット仕上げとなっており、異なる質感の対比が美しい立体感を生み出しています。アラビア数字は1930年代らしいアール・デコ調フォントで描かれ、針と呼応するカッパートーンの下地出しが印象的。針は1930年代らしいシリンジハンドにテールドット秒針を組み合わせた造形で、戦前期オメガならではのエレガンスを体現しています。ケースはステンレススチール製の6ツ爪スクリューバック構造で、防塵性と耐久性を両立した精緻な設計。ロンジンなど当時の強豪に真っ向から挑んだ、オメガの技術的自負が感じられる構造です。

ケースは使用感の少ない素晴らしいコンディションを保っています。ラグはシャープなエッジを残しており、オリジナルフォルムを崩すことなく保存されています。ダイヤルは均一なトーンを保ち、ツートンの境目も美しく明瞭。経年によるポツポツとした変化が見られます。針はオリジナルのままで、ダイヤル同様の変化が見られますが、メッキは良好です。弊社にて分解清掃済みです。

This early center-seconds Omega from 1939 houses the hand-wound Cal. 23.4 SCT1 and was produced for the French market, as indicated by the “FAB. SUISSE” inscription at the center of the dial. The two-tone dial features a subtle metallic sheen in the inner section and a matte chapter ring on the periphery, creating refined depth through contrasting textures. The Art Deco-style Arabic numerals, executed in copper tones to match the hands, exemplify late-1930s design elegance. The syringe-shaped hour and minute hands, paired with a teardrop-tip seconds hand, complete the distinctly pre-war aesthetic. Its stainless-steel case features a six-notch screw-back construction that balances dust resistance and durability—evidence of Omega’s technical confidence as it competed directly with contemporary rivals such as Longines.

The case remains in excellent condition with minimal signs of wear. The lugs retain sharp edges, preserving the original geometry of the case. The dial shows even tonality, with the two-tone boundary still clearly defined, while light speckling from age lends gentle character. The original hands show consistent aging, yet their plating remains intact. Fully serviced by our watchmaker.
